Luxury cottage with hot tub - Barnard Castle

LeeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay, however, we would like the hot tub to be a little bit more private. It’s next to the house, so you can’t make any noise. Also, you can only use the hot tub until 10pm. When you pay a £55 charge for this it’s abit annoying. We wish we knew this before hand. There is also not enough towels we could not has 2. So the floor got soaking wet, as there’s nothing to put on the floor no bath mats etc. And there was no bathrobes for the hot tub, that would be a nice extra when paying £55. The towel rail in the bathroom didn’t seem to work. Also, several lightbulbs not working. This is just constructive criticism but we had a great stay Thank you

Luxury cottage - river views, balcony and hot tub

EmilyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a wonderful place for a peaceful break away. The house was so comfortable with all the amenities needed. The hot tub was a lovely addition too! My son, who loves wildlife photography, absolutely adored the river. He spent every possible moment down there photographing Kingfishers! I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves birds and wildlife.

Lakeside Barn w/ fantastic views & Hot-Tub

KarenRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We arrived on the Friday for a 3 night stay. The Barn is in a beautiful place inside and out. The Hot Tub was lovely on an evening and the patio fire was great to sit around for drinks early evening watching the Sun go down. Casterton village is only a couple of miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. The village its self had a gorgeous pub 7 mins walk from the Barn which had a great range of food and served Sourdough pizza on Sunday evening after 1700hrs with a lovely warm atmosphere and open fires. There is a great taxi service and some fabulous restaurants near to the Barn. The Black Bull and the Highwayman were fabulous. (We did go to Number 9 also and it was not somewhere I could recommend, service and food really poor.) Patrick and Anika were great responsive hosts and this is a do not miss property, that offers every you need for a fabulous stay. Our little group loved it. Thank you Karen, Denise and Naomi

Cottage & Pool House Yorkshire Dales Littondale

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We have just returned from a few nights away staying at this little piece of paradise. If you’re after a tranquil, relaxing holiday then this is the place to stay. From the house itself, to the spectacular views , the amazing pool house and the lovely, friendly neighbours, this place ticks all the boxes and more. Highly recommend visiting The Queens Arms for a meal (or just a cheeky drink), the staff are so friendly and just made our time away extra special. Malham is only a 20 min (ish) drive away and is stunning (a must see). The only thing I would advise is to make sure you take plenty of supplies (or do an online shop for delivery as we did) as the local shop is a 20min drive away. Thankyou again David, we will definitely be back.

Booked for our 20th wedding anniversary and used for a base to explore Skipton and a day out in York. Close enough to Skipton to enjoy the town and the night life. The Granary was immaculate. Hot Tub amazing and already planning a second visit. The location is stunning, peaceful and we enjoyed every minute .

Stayed for a couple of nights to explore the Dales. Lovely, cute cottage with everything you’d need. Private garden was ideal for the dog to stretch his legs and some fantastic walks literally from the doorstep. Carole was always on hand for advice and local knowledge! Would definitely come back and stay again

Fabulous stay at HOTH. Beautiful cottage with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. WiFi was great and instructions to find the cottage were very clear and easy to check in. Fabulous location in the delightful village of Hawes - so many lovely places to eat and fantastic walks from the doorstep. Definitely recommend visiting the local creamery and Simonstone Hall for a drink with a great view! Our second visit here and sure we’ll be back for a third!

Stonebeck Cottage - The Perfect Country Hideaway

SallyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Wow! What a fantastic place to stay. The cottage was a perfect haven for a relaxing holiday. The scenery was breathtaking, and we spent much of the time gazing out of the window at the dramatic weather and wildlife. We wished we could have stayed longer! And will recommend it to all our friends. Many thanks Sally, Kevin and Pippa 🐾

Puzzle Cottage Quirky Yorkshire Dales Cottage

PeterRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
First the negatives (although not many!). The charm and quirkiness comes at a price, namely very tight and steep staircases (sometimes slippery due to the polished wood floors), and the low wooden beams, although beautiful, I managed to bang my head on them about half a dozen times (before I learned how to duck!). That aside, the minor negatives were completely out-balanced by the many positives. The place was easy to find, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosey. The safe and secure yard was great for Bowzer to run around in (He's a 3 year old cockapoo by the way!). The village itself is tranquil, and the short walk to the waterfall is lovely. The town of Leyburn is only a 5 minute drive or a 30 minute walk away, where there are plenty of dog friendly shops and eateries to be enjoyed. Overall then, I would recommend Puzzle Cottage to anyone who just wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle for a couple of days and recharge their batteries (and bring their dog too).

Triangle Cottage

MarionRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Just had the cosiest stay at Triangle Cottage! Very tastefully decorated, the comfiest bed and the dreamy rolled top bath with the views made it all the more relaxing! It had everything I needed for a wee retreat with my dog in the countryside. Perfect walkable distance to the city centre and various hikes around. Strongly recommend!

‘The Hideaway’ amidst the Nidderdale Hills

GillRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved The Hideaway and wished we'd been able to stay for more than one night. Louise was so friendly and helpful, and although we didn't get to meet, we had everything we wanted and quick help when we messaged her with questions about where to eat etc. The Hideaway is immaculately clean and so stylish. The bed was super comfy and the shower fantastic. The kitchen was spotless and well stocked with utensils and crockery and Louise had kindly left us fresh eggs (from her gorgeous free ranging chickens, who came to say hello as we arrived), fresh milk and bread and a bakery treat each. It's a light, bright and welcoming apartment with beautiful views over Nidderdale. We had complete privacy and even a little garden space with picnic table and fabulous view. We were delighted to wake to the gentle calls of the curlews in nearby fields and we felt truly 'on holiday'. The sad part was leaving .. we really hope to be back soon and to explore this amazing part of Yorkshire

Crofters' Cottage at North View

AlanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely cottage, lots of nice touches. Can't fault Alison's communication - always available. Cooked breakfast was mindblowing, so make sure you book that, at least once... Just don't expect to eat lunch that day! We also had the Indian meal, which was also great. Her mixed berry jam is lovely. Animals/meadow and space for the dog etc were perfect for what we needed. Very private and peaceful. We had steak at the Millbank Arms one night and also had sausage rolls/cornish pasties etc from Coughlans - both worth doing/visiting. Finally the Mainsgill Farm shop is great for a look around - highly recommend the sausages etc! Thanks again for your hospitality.

Stunning Views over the Swale, Barn Cottage.

LauraRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a lovely stay in the cottage over New Year’s Eve. The wood burner made it feel very cosy, and it’s really well equipped - it has pretty much everything you might need for a few nights stay. The location is perfect for walking - we did a couple straight from the cottage, with really varied landscapes which were absolutely stunning, including rivers, big vistas and farmland, ending with an excellent pub in Gunnerside. Just a couple of things, which wouldn’t bring my review score down but worth noting - we couldn’t get the washing machine to work, which didn’t really matter to us but worth checking with Harriet if it’s an essential. Also, the hairdryer wasn’t great so worth bringing your own if your hair takes hours to dry like mine! Lastly, the sound system is pretty old and doesn’t have Bluetooth, so better bring a speaker if you like listening to music. Overall, we loved the cottage and had a fantastic stay!

AnitaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We were delighted to be be back in Masham again. Everyone is so friendly, and it’s ideal for visiting or walking in the Dales and the many lovely places nearby. The cottage itself is in a great location too - in the corner of the Market place, yet quiet and peaceful. It has everything we could ask for and is very clean and cosy. Thank you Ulicia, we hope to return again before too long!
