Townhouse holiday rentals in Richmondshire District

The house was very lovely and all we needed since we were only staying for 3 nights. It was very convenient making it only a few minutes away from all the places we went to.The bed was also comfy and the house had a lovely cozy,homely feel to it.They did provide some mil and biscuits which was very kind.Overall we loved our stay and would definitely recommend!

Everything went according to plan. Paul explained the arrangements in advance and it was easy to find, only a short walk from the station. The house had plenty of space for two, was well equipped and was spotlessly clean. The fresh orange juice, milk coffee and prosecco were nice touches. If I were coming back to York by train this would be my first choice.

Myself and two friends stayed at Pam and Julie’s house on a visit back to Sunderland where we studied a LONG time ago. The house was great. It was a good size for the three of us; the bedrooms were clean and tidy, everything was easy to find and the conservatory was great for breakfast as we managed to visit when it was sunny! It is also so quiet! I chose the house as well because it is a good walk along the river/sea to the shops/beach at Seaburn, and only about 20 minutes into town the other way. Communication was excellent before and after our stay. I would certainly recommend the house if staying in Sunderland. (It is also next to the Glass Centre, but be aware that this is due to close (sadly) in 2026.)

Beth was a great host. She communicated very well from the reservation booking, through a few changes in our number of guests, to checking on us during our stay. The home was perfectly located to get to places in Town Centre to visit and to the train station. The house had all we needed. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen for a few family meals together. The dishwasher and the washer/dryer worked well. The beds were warm and comfortable. The bathrooms were designed great for our 7 guests to alternate through. Each bedroom had its own full length mirror and hair dryer, which was very helpful. The neighborhood was very respectful. The nights were completely quiet, allowing us a comfortable night’s sleep and rest to be able to be up and ready for our next day’s activities.

We loved our stay in this beautiful spacious home. So peaceful at night. Minutes from the bus into town which my daughter loved, and having a garden whilst being so close to town was wonderful. It has everything you need including comfy beds. We had a takeaway from the local Indian a five minute walk away which was delicious. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Whistler House for my sister and her husband’s 70th birthdays. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully furnished and had a great location being on the river and a few minutes walk from the City. The cottage was well equipped and the host went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. Highly recommended. Thank you Anna for a lovely stay. We will be back!

James place is great, exactly as described, well located and his communication was excellent. Highly recommended

Clare's lovely house was a perfect base for Harrogate - a quiet road and yet easily walkable to many nice restaurants and shops. The kitchen is very well equipped. We appreciated very lovely quality white linen on beds.Clare was very helpful and prompt in advance on entry instructions and other queries we had.

Great place to stay within walking distance to the city centre and train station so need for a car! Lovely host and cosy home. Everything was clean and would be lovely to go back. House was as described.

Charming old fashioned cottage, right in the heart of York. Very quiet and private. Easy walks to all attractions. The house was clean and all amenities well maintained, loved the bedroom so cosy and pretty. The bed very comfortable. Highly recommended s stay here. We would certainly stay here again 🌟

We felt right at home! Lauras place has everything we could ask for. It is in walking distance to the beautiful city center of York. Lots of shop, restaurants, attractions and public transport close by yet quiet and peaceful in the night. Laura is a great host, thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us! We had the most incredible time here, the property was immaculate and the decor was amazing. It was so homely and the refreshments left for us was such a lovely touch, couldn’t stayed there forever! There was so much to do around we didn’t get through it all so cannot wait to come back and stay again.

Lovely, traditional terraced house in a fabulous location. Walking distance to great restaurants and pubs. Spotlessly clean and lovely comfortable beds. Jackie was very helpful and friendly.

We had a great time at Celia’s townhouse in York. It was conveniently located and was the perfect size for our family. Celia was incredibly responsive to our needs and went out of her way to ensure that our stay was pleasant. I highly recommend Celia as a host and her place as a wonderful place to stay in York.

4 adults and a 3 year old stayed at Clare's place for 2 nights. The house was exactly as advertised and is in a great location for walking into York, with lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. There was a gift left for our daughter and it really made her feel welcome! Special mention for Clare, always really responsive and friendly in messages. She was always happy to give recommendations and really accommodating for us. Thank you so much Clare!

This was the best accommodation experience during our trip to the UK. The landlord was very friendly and, knowing that we had a lot of luggage, allowed us to check in early and check out late. The house was very well designed and really caught the eye. There were small gifts from the landlord in the living room. In short, it was a wonderful accommodation experience.

Loved staying here - great little place with lots of attention to detail, such as the lovely plants in the patio garden and nice toiletries provided. Also super close to town and the canal which was useful. Would definitely stay again.

Am absolutely amazing stay, Kiran went above and beyond by having milk in the fridge and bread etc, there was everything we needed and more. Also, very important, the house was clean and very nicely decorated. We felt very welcomed with a beautiful card on arrival and communication with Kiran was very easy.

A lovely place in a really great location. Perfect for walking around the area of Nidderdale. The location of the property sits just off the high street so convenient for the local shops and pub. Highly recommend Kendall’s the butchers. The property itself is just what was needed. Comfortable and warm with all the amenities required. Thank you for a fantastic stay.
