It's open but defined spaces leave you feeling relaxed while works great as a base camp for your explorations of Albuquerque and beyond. It comes with a cozy yet high-end kitchen. The bathroom space is pocket-size with plenty of style. Some my find the bathroom space challenging. Located north of downtown on the fringe of a quiet residential area. Your private casita is in the cottonwood trees by the Rio Grande. You can walk, bike, or run on the Bosque Trail outside your door or wander by the Rio Grande River with a perfect view of Sandia Mountain. Enjoy New Mexico's quiet starry nights in a comfortable queen brass bed. Brew your own coffee, black tea or herbal tea and add cream, sugar or honey. Your kitchen has a full refrigerator, stovetop and microwave. If you enjoy cookimng, there are sharp knives, oil, butter, vinegar, and spices.

Perfect for solo or couples and within a few minutes walk to The Bosque trails and Rio Grande River. Bird watch, bike ride, walk along nature trails, or a short driving distance to Old Town/ Downtown Albuquerque. We are centrally located within Albuquerque and are a short driving distance to restaurants, but not within walking distance.

Private courtyard and private gated parking with opener. 2.7 miles to Balloon Fiesta Park; watch balloons land in the adjacent field during Balloon Fiesta. Shop & dine nearby yet located in a quiet country setting near walking paths in the Rio Grande Bosque. Walking distance to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, Starbucks and other restaurants. A short drive to the beautiful Rio Grande Bosque with its river trails - 20 minute drive to Balloon Fiesta Park.

Your adobe private casita is in the charming village of Placitas; 40 mins from Santa Fe, 2 hours to Taos, and 20 to ABQ, the Rio Grande River, wineries, museums, and restaurants. Sit by the pool after exploring local sites, then relax in the hot tub ( no jets) or sip a glass of wine (or non-alcoholic cider) while taking in the views. The Casita offers a private courtyard and entrance, an outdoor pool (May 15 to October 15), and an on- demand hot tub (year-round, no jets).

The front porch has seating and the private back patio has a lighted pergola, dining furniture, & Sandia mountain views. Balloon Fiesta Park is nearby & balloons fly nearby year-round.
