Our cozy 25 m² holiday home with garden and barbecue area is surrounded by nature, directly on the Saale and on the Saale bike path in the vineyards of the spa town of Bad Kösen in the Burgenland district. From here you can quickly reach interesting excursion destinations such as Naumburg Cathedral, our numerous castles or Pforta Monastery, as well as historical places and larger cities such as Jena, Leipzig or Weimar. Here you can relax, enjoy your vacation and recover from everyday life.

You’ll love my place because of the atmosphere and the bright light from 5 big windows, the ambiance, the people you will meet in E-Werk, where you also can chill out & grill. My place is good for couples, small groups and families with kids (baby bed & high chair exist).

The listed and traffic-calmed city center offers no or paid parking.

Guest house on the Schleusehof... enjoy nature!

Our guest house (approx. 89m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The lock yard is idyllically situated on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house can accommodate 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). On request, we also have a baby bed for the little ones. The farm offers space to romp and relax. A bed under the star tent! If you enter the yurt, you are immediately enchanted by the unique sense of space of this completely round dwelling. Unlike in the square rooms we used to, the view can wander unhindered here. You feel welcome, sheltered and somehow immediately comfortable. It's hard to describe in words what makes the fascination of a  yurt - you have to experience it for yourself!
