Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Trojan-les-Bains

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Our stay with Hervé and his partner was very pleasant. They are very friendly people. They listened to our needs while remaining discreet and respecting our privacy. The setting is pleasant and the atmosphere relaxing, quiet. Hervé has always been available to make our stay pleasant, and gives good advice to discover the island, its picturesque places and its beautiful beaches. I would highly recommend this property

Quintessential French Country We could not recommend a place more! We absolutely loved our stay at Celine's listing, which was perfect after a few very busy days in Paris sightseeing. We enjoyed the slower pace, the beautiful pool, the private BQ seating area, and the indoor space was perfectly decorated and suited our needs well. We're in France 12 days, and this was by far, the best leg of our journey. Be sure to take Celine's restaurant recommendation - it was the icing on the cake. And Celine was the best hostess we have ever met! Charming, in every way.

access code arrived late, which gave us a few cold sweats but everything went well afterwards. accommodation faithful to the description, quiet environment. We spent a night there with two toddlers. Well equipped.

I would recommend Thierry's place, very clean,very quiet in the back of a cul-de-sac, shop nearby. Thierry is very welcoming, and when I come back to the area , I will come back to his place.

The studio was the perfect accommodation for a weekend. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and has everything you need. We did not have the opportunity to meet Sophie but she was very welcoming and caring in her messages, before, during and after our stay. We recommend Sophie without hesitation

A very central and comfortable apartment on the first floor. The location at the market and close to good coffee shops and restaurants is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped, a nice shower and use of a plug in fan for hot evenings. The second bedroom is smaller but we didn’t use this. Baby facilities of a cot, changing table etc also very useful. Thank you Clotilde!

Maryse is a great host was there to meet us on arrival took time to show us around the apartment and also tips of where to eat and things to see. The apartment was clean and comfortable and very centrally located easy walking distance of everything.

We rented Vandy's apartment for the weekend. It was perfect. The instructions were clear and detailed, making it easy to find the access point. The apartment was large and functional, close to everything A private parking space is really a significant plus We'll be back for a future stay, that's for sure.
