Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

We are delighted to offer our newly furbished two bedroom apartment. Located within a quiet peaceful area this is a great location to come switch off and relax whilst being close enough to a choice of train stations and motorway for you to venture to busy city life such as Glasgow or Edinburgh for the day. Stunning 4 Bed House Airdrie. Close to Glasgow!

While we did have a few minor issues, all was resolved with friendly communication from Lisa. Pictures didn't do the property justice! If we plan another trip to Scotland we'll definitely stay here again. Walking distance to grocery, 25 min walk or 5 min drive to train station.

Great BnB especially for a family of 4-5. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos. Jozef and team were quite helpful and also confirmed and provided certain amenities which I’d requested. Great location as well as its 30-40mins drive from both Glasgow / Edinburgh.
