Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Salzburg-Umgebung District

This is by far one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed before. The cabin itself was absolutely spotless and very cosy. Elfi provided us with everything we needed and more. We were given items from the local farm shop which was a lovely gesture and we were able to go and purchase items from it too. Elfi was very warm and welcoming and also leaving a welcome pack that explained everything we needed to know about the local area. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin was heated very nicely. The fireplace was one of our favourite aspects as we spent the evenings feeling peaceful and at home. The location was also beautiful as we experienced the sunset and sunrise both absolutely stunning and it was also only 15 minute scenic walk from the station. Overall was an excellent experience which made our holiday so worthwhile. Would definitely recommend to all!

Katharina’s place was incredible! The views were amazing and Katharina was super friendly. If you are looking for a peaceful, well kept place to stay, then this is it. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and wish we could have stayed longer!

A wonderful property with amazing views. It is located close to town and supermarkets. A huge bonus was that the property was stocked with basics in the kitchen and utility room!

Angela's place is fantastic! It feels luxurious and we felt very much at home there. A nice neighborhood with friendly people. We have made many trips to, among other things, the various lakes in the region. It was a perfect base and every time you come home to Angela's house. We'd definitely come back.

A very charming and eclectic home to stay at for our holiday. It looks very much like the photos, but has an added charm to it that can’t be conveyed by photos. It is an older home but has all of the modern amenities that you need for your stay, such as a fully functioning kitchen. The plunge pool is cold and refreshing on a hot day and our son enjoyed playing in the backyard. Although it isn’t necessarily the most child proof home, Ingo made sure that we had a crib with bedding and a child safety gate for our 2 year old. There were also some toys provided for our toddler to play with. We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home.

My wife and I had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding in a small, private group at Emanuela's and then spending a few days together in this refuge. In retrospect, we couldn't have made a better choice. Emanuela has created a true paradise here - perfect for a few days with family/friends to relax in nature or, as in our case, to celebrate a wedding with a handful of guests and then spend the honeymoon as a couple. The house is generously equipped for celebrations and really plays all the pieces, Emanuela is also an extremely warm and attentive host and very helpful when it comes to questions of organization. All in all, it was an unforgettable time - Emanuela and her natural idyll in Unterach also had a big part in this and for that we would like to sincerely say THANK YOU! We plan to visit again! We travel a lot and buy this house is for sure in our top 3 - A real home, not just an Airbnb ! Everything you need from amenities like sauna and jacuzzi to all cooking essential We had a wondefull time exploring the surrounding and enjoying drink and leaks on the terrasse view stunning view No sun in the evening but no worry the fire pit will keep your warm ;) Love love love !

The location of the accommodation and also the accommodation itself were great, Markus is very nice and accommodating. small tip of the link to the route first led us to another address, it is best to enter the address separately in the navigation system.

We really enjoyed staying at Monika and Tamas' place. they were both so thoughtful and responsive to our requests. Tamas' gave us a ride down to the local grocery store our first night as we had arrived late and was very generous to give us a tour of the town and share his experiences here

Unfortunately, we could not use the apartment much due to a family celebration, but in the short time we spent there, we felt very comfortable. The hosts are super nice, helpful and responded very quickly to every request. The apartment was very clean and nicely furnished. We'd love to come back. Thank you very much!

Lisa and Martin were very welcoming hosts. The apartment is within the family home and was a great space for a couple and had everything we needed. The views were just spectacular from all windows. You do need a car to get about, which Lisa has clearly stated. The apartment is about 35 minutes into Salzburg itself. We used the park and ride which was great. Thank you Lisa and Martin for allowing us to stay in your home. We highly recommend.

We were four (2E/2K) on the Alm for a week, the location is great you live very secluded below the Zwölferhorn on a private forest road. The apartment is very nice and cozy. The terrace with the great view of the mountains and forests and the barbecue area (wood, lighter - everything there!) are the highlight. In addition, there is a heated cellar where you can dry summer and winter clothes and shoes and a bicycle/ski cellar. Ideal as a starting point for trips around the Fuschl, Wolfgang and Mondsee, you just have to know that you have to go down the good gravel road every day and up again in the evening. For us, that was no problem and you are rewarded with absolute peace and deer and rabbits in the garden. And the short morning sport on Zwölferhorn is an 11 km round trip with a 20% gradient - some people really liked it :-) and you can easily use it at sunrise. We will be happy to come back!

This was our second time staying here and I’m sure we’ll be back. It has been the perfect spot while we visit the area. The house is cozy and has everything you need, and the yard is perfect for a little one who loves to run around. Thank you for everything :)

Positives: The apartment was just as pictured, new, well appointed, spacious and spotlessly clean and was in a great location for us to drive between Salzburg and Berchtesgaden and Magdalena (our host) was very warm and friendly. Cons: It is a working farm and the family live there. The dairy barn was directly across from our balcony and the kids play area was right below our bedroom windows -which we needed to leave open during summer. The noise levels early in the morning and throughout the day (delivery trucks and kids playing/crying definitely impacted our ability to sleep and relax. We also had some difficulty communicating with our hosts RE basics like check in, laundry, getting an iron, etc. Some of this was due to our arrival on a holiday, some due to the language difference (tho English was listed here as a language spoken) some due to our host being quite busy with other tasks during our visit. All understandable, yet we'd likely have booked elsewhere if we'd known.

Absolutely loved my stay! The space was spotless, beautifully styled, and exactly as described. Host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Perfect location—would book again in a heartbeat!

We - a family with two children (8,3) - spent 3 wonderful days in Mittererb and Pauline's accommodation. Pauline is an incredibly warm, attentive hostess. The accommodation itself is very clean, the furniture was mostly built by Pauline's son, who is a carpenter. The highlight for our children was the bunk bed and the wonderful and lovingly maintained garden. For the children, there were wild strawberries to snack on and in the raised bed there were various salads, kohlrabi and radishes to take freely. Pauline surprised us on arrival with a filled refrigerator and fresh bread from the local baker. In the kitchen, there is everything you need and more, and vinegar, oil and spices are also provided. Two different coffee machines including coffee are also available. Pauline herself is not only familiar with the area, but also a city guide in Salzburg and has many tips ready. It was perfect!

Very rustic cottage, easy check-in, good and easy communication with Berni and the hostess on site. Unfortunately, only a few sockets are available in the hut. The furniture in the garden is very outdated. Unfortunately, a lounger and some dishes were broken, so we demanded a very reasonable compensation. Overall, it was a very nice stay.
