Holiday rentals with lake access in Salzburg-Umgebung District

Constanze's spacious lakeside home was a gem of a find! An idyllic location; gardens leading down to the jetty & lake ; amazing views across to mountains; excellent scenic walks to either end of the lake; train station 5 minutes walk away with regular, reliable service to Salzburg & elsewhere. We made the best use of this beautiful house & location & the wood burning stove was very much appreciated on the cooler evenings! Constanze was a great host, was there to meet & greet us & with excellent communication via phone too & we have no hesitation in recommending her lovely home.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und liegt in einer ruhigen und schönen Lage – perfekt zum Entspannen. Silvia ist eine außerordentlich freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die sich herzlich um alles gekümmert hat. Als Überraschung gab es sogar ein kleines Gastgeschenk. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The location is absolutely perfect — peaceful, green, and shaded in the afternoon, which made both indoor and outdoor areas super comfortable even on warm days. The house is beautifully equipped: a fantastic kitchen, cozy common areas, a big outdoor hammock, comfy loungers on the lawn, and a huge cushioned daybed we absolutely loved. You can really tell that everything was done with great care and quality — all the little touches are there to make your stay feel easy and enjoyable. When we discovered the huge selection of board games, we honestly felt a bit sad we didn’t have more time to play them all! It’s the kind of place where you’d love to stay longer just to relax and unwind. We also went on a stunning hike to Schoberstein, just a 20-minute drive away — the views were truly breathtaking. One small tip for future guests: be sure to book restaurants and even breakfast spots well in advance, especially during high season. Highly recommend — it’s a real gem! 🌿

Gut Achort ist ein sehr idyllischer Ort. Das Grundstück, die historischen Gebäude und der Garten sind traumhaft. Besonders gut hat uns der private Seezugang gefallen. Man kann sich dort aufgrund der Ruhe wunderbar erholen. Die Aussicht ist zauberhaft.

This is one of the nicest Airbnb properties that we have stayed it. It was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Rouven gave us lots of helpful tips of places to visit which made our holiday better. The location was excellent for visiting Salzburg and the surrounding lakes. There was loads of space at the property for a family of 4 and the garden was lovely.

Krásné, čisté, stylově zařízené ubytování s výhledem na jezero Attersee. K dispozici bylo vše, co nás jen napadlo (gril, venkovní posezení, lehátka, sauna, místo na uskladnění kol). Co jsme velice ocenili, byla soukromá pláž přímo na břehu jezera s chatičkou na převlékání a možností půjčení malé loďky; zde jsme si po celou dobu uschovali nafouknutý padleboard. Katharina je velice milá hostitelka, stále k dispozici. Každý den se zeptala, co máme v plánu, popřípadě poradila nějaké tipy.

Bernhard war ein sehr guter und freundlicher Gastgeber. Das Self-Check-In hat reibungslos geklappt. Für Fragen war Bernhard absolut zuverlässig zu erreichen. Die Wohnung übertraf unsere Erwartungen insbesondere in Anbetracht der Größe und ist ein super Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge Richtung Salzburg und Umland. Für Besucher mit kleineren Kindern ist erwähnenswert, dass der Schlafbereich als Galerie gestaltet ist. Dies ist den Fotos entnehmbar, allerdings waren wir doch irgendwie überrascht- in unserem Fall aber definitiv positiv. Die Küche war für unsere Belange ausreichend bestückt, über die Nespresso Kaffeemaschine und entsprechende Kapseln (Gastgeschenk) haben wir uns ebenso sehr gefreut. Die Unterkunft war eine gute Basis für unseren wunderbaren Urlaub.

Ein wirklich toller Ausflug mit der Familie. Das äusserst großzügig geschnittene Haus befindet sich in absoluter Premium-Lage direkt am Mattsee. Was für ein Ausblick. Es ist alle da, was man benötigt. 2 Bäder, Küche mit gehobener Ausstattung, Pizzaofen (Oh ja! Ein echtes Profi-Teil!), BBQ in XXL Format, Sauna, Kamin, es ist einfach alles da. Meganette, freundliche und zuvorkommende Vermieter. Jederzeit gerne wieder!! KLASSE!!!

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in der Wohnung! Alles war super sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders praktisch war der Pool direkt im gleichen Gebäude. Die Lage ist top – in ein paar Minuten ist man am See oder bei der Schafbergbahn. Ideal, wenn man gerne wandert oder einfach die Natur genießen möchte. Der Check-in war total unkompliziert und der Gastgeber war super hilfsbereit – mit vielen tollen Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Besonders schön war auch der Blick vom Balkon auf die Berge – einfach traumhaft. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. It was really clean and well-equipped. Both rooms had a beautiful view of the lake. Also, the house is in a great location if you’d like to go hiking. We would absolutely recommend it! Hannelore was super friendly and made sure we felt comfortable during our stay.

Travelling with our two adult daughters Andreas’s flat was perfect. His lovely wife popped over to welcome us. There were homely touches like fresh meadow flowers on the table & drinks in the fridge. We had a great 4 days exploring a beautiful area despite the damp weather. The flat is warm, beds were comfortable & we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the peaceful garden & the very convenient location for exploring the area on foot. One thing we were unaware of was that many of the local establishments would prefer payment in Euro cash rather than card (some were cash only) & ATM charges are high so make sure you take € with you. We would love to return again one day & explore further

Super für einen kurzen Stopp! Wir waren für 4 Übernachtungen (auf der Durchreise) bei Magdalena und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Sehr sauber, alles fein, topp ausgestattet! Für uns hat es jedenfalls völlig gereicht. Die Kommunikation verlief schnell und einwandfrei. Bis zur Ortsmitte mit dem Rad ca. 5 gemütliche Minuten. Das Haus liegt direkt am Radweg nach St. Gilgen, sehr ruhig. Wenn unbedingt etwas zu bemängeln sein soll: Man kann nicht wirklich verdunkeln, es ist früh hell! Uns hat’s nicht wirklich gestört.

Julia war super entgegengekommend, aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt und es fehlte uns an nichts. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, Julia war immer ansprechbar für uns und gab uns hilfreiche Tipps für die Gegend. Wir kommen gern wieder :)

Sehr freundliche Kommunikation bereits ab der Buchung, sehr netter persönlicher Empfang bei Ankunft. Wenn man etwas braucht, sind Claudia und Thomas sofort zur Stelle! Es war wirklich ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt bei wunderbaren Gastgebern! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
