Waterfront holiday rentals in Salzburg-Umgebung District

Alles war einfach wunderbar - die Lage, das Apartment und die Gastgeber. Wir waren zum Mondsee Radmarathon vor Ort und haben nicht nur die tolle zentrale Lage, sondern auch die Top-Ausstattung des Apartments genossen und nicht zuletzt die Tatsache, dass es aufgrund des alten Gewölbe immer angenehm kühl in der Wohnung war (was bei über 30° C wirklich ein unschlagbares Pluspunkt ist). Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! :)

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in der Wohnung! Alles war super sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders praktisch war der Pool direkt im gleichen Gebäude. Die Lage ist top – in ein paar Minuten ist man am See oder bei der Schafbergbahn. Ideal, wenn man gerne wandert oder einfach die Natur genießen möchte. Der Check-in war total unkompliziert und der Gastgeber war super hilfsbereit – mit vielen tollen Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Besonders schön war auch der Blick vom Balkon auf die Berge – einfach traumhaft. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Diana's place was exceptional! Neat and clean, very lovely and warm. There were so many things available for is to use. My daughter was specially happy with all the games and puzzles. The check in and check out was easy. The tram stop is literally 5 steps away with good frequency. The play area and lake opposite is also wonderful 😊 We just didn't feel like leaving the house and going to the city! Highly recommended!

We spent a wonderful trip here with friends and truly enjoyed our stay! The house is located right next to the beautiful Wolfgangsee lake, which made the setting extra special. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating—she even prepared a lovely outdoor seating area and grill for us. The accommodation was absolutely cleaned and fully equipped with everything we needed. The surroundings are stunning and peaceful, perfect for relaxing or exploring nature. We highly recommend this place for groups or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful location. Travelling with our two adult daughters Andreas’s flat was perfect. His lovely wife popped over to welcome us. There were homely touches like fresh meadow flowers on the table & drinks in the fridge. We had a great 4 days exploring a beautiful area despite the damp weather. The flat is warm, beds were comfortable & we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the peaceful garden & the very convenient location for exploring the area on foot. One thing we were unaware of was that many of the local establishments would prefer payment in Euro cash rather than card (some were cash only) & ATM charges are high so make sure you take € with you. We would love to return again one day & explore further

We had a great stay at Pankraz's place! It is located in the countryside of Salzburg, surrounded by beautiful nature (you're going to love the view from the balcony) and there is a horse stable right next to the guesthouse. Pankraz was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. From the guesthouse, it is only a 30 minute drive to Salzburg city, and there are many beautiful (nature) spots nearby in the area as well.

Everything was up to standard. Kitchen not so well equipped but for a couple of night stay perfect.

Wonderful Airbnb in a picturesque location. Hosts were super friendly. Perfect stay, 10/10.

Constanze's spacious lakeside home was a gem of a find! An idyllic location; gardens leading down to the jetty & lake ; amazing views across to mountains; excellent scenic walks to either end of the lake; train station 5 minutes walk away with regular, reliable service to Salzburg & elsewhere. We made the best use of this beautiful house & location & the wood burning stove was very much appreciated on the cooler evenings! Constanze was a great host, was there to meet & greet us & with excellent communication via phone too & we have no hesitation in recommending her lovely home.

Ich wurde persönlich von Gerlinde sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Unterkunft hat alles was man braucht und liegt sehr schön in der Natur. mit dem Bus erreicht man die Unterkunft vom Salzburger Hbf in ca. 45 Minuten. Thalgau Ortsmitte ist einen knappen Kilometer entfernt wo man alles bekommt. ich bin zwar wegen der Wettervorhersage (Starkregen) früher abgereist aber habe mich dennoch sehr wohl gefühlt. komme gerne wieder!

Super Kommunikation im Vorfeld, flexibler Check-In, Unterkunft wie beschrieben; alles, was man braucht vorhanden. Das Haus, in dem das Zimmer liegt, ist ein Traum und sehr idyllisch gelegen. Man würde nicht denken, von dort aus so schnell in die Salzburger City zu gelangen. Auch mit ÖPNV super schnell und einfach. Der Blick auf den Wasserfall ist sehr verführerisch; aber dass der Außenbereich lediglich von den Eigentümer*innen genutzt werden darf, wiederum auch verständlich. Wenn man dem widerstehen kann, klare Empfehlung!

Unterkunft entspricht in allem der Beschreibung, Haus gut ausgestattet - toll, dass alle Zimmer ihr eigenes Bad haben. Der See ist in drei Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, man kann super noch schnell nach Wanderungen etc baden gehen. Der öffentliche, kostenlose Strand ist auch fußläufig erreichbar. Das Haus bleibt auch bei einer Woche 30 Grad C schön kühl. Kleiner Wehrmutstropfen ist die Straße, die man an Arbeitstagen hört - WE ist ruhig.

Krásné, čisté, stylově zařízené ubytování s výhledem na jezero Attersee. K dispozici bylo vše, co nás jen napadlo (gril, venkovní posezení, lehátka, sauna, místo na uskladnění kol). Co jsme velice ocenili, byla soukromá pláž přímo na břehu jezera s chatičkou na převlékání a možností půjčení malé loďky; zde jsme si po celou dobu uschovali nafouknutý padleboard. Katharina je velice milá hostitelka, stále k dispozici. Každý den se zeptala, co máme v plánu, popřípadě poradila nějaké tipy.

Ein sehr schönes, architektonisch interessantes und blitzsauberes Haus. Die Lage und der Blick auf den Berg sind toll. Gerne wieder!

Der Aufenthalt war toll, das Zimmer war klein aber gemütlich, besser als die Fotos erahnen lasse. Das Haus ist sehr schön. Claudia ist äußerst hilfsbereit, flexibel und sehr freundlich. Dank ihr alles hat genau für mich gepasst und ich hatte einen stressfreien aufenthalt. ich komme gerne wieder.

Ein wirklich toller Ausflug mit der Familie. Das äusserst großzügig geschnittene Haus befindet sich in absoluter Premium-Lage direkt am Mattsee. Was für ein Ausblick. Es ist alle da, was man benötigt. 2 Bäder, Küche mit gehobener Ausstattung, Pizzaofen (Oh ja! Ein echtes Profi-Teil!), BBQ in XXL Format, Sauna, Kamin, es ist einfach alles da. Meganette, freundliche und zuvorkommende Vermieter. Jederzeit gerne wieder!! KLASSE!!!

Parfait pour un séjour à Salzbourg Proche du centre ville Appartement spacieux et très agréable. Si on retourne à Salzbourg on reviendra avec plaisir

The accommodation is greatly located. The garden is amazing and access to the lake is the best part. The apartment itself is not modern or somehow designed but it has everything you might need for a short stay. Markus and his parents were really nice and the communication was easy :) I recommend it!

Wir hatten als 5köpfige Familie eine wunderschöne Woche am Mondsee in Sonjas Wohnung. Diese war genau wie beschrieben, geräumig und gemütlich. Alles aus der Beschreibung war vorhanden, auch viele Details in der Küche, wie Kaffee, Gewürze, Essig und Öl. All die Sachen, die man nicht erst kaufen mag für ein paar Tage Urlaub. Die Wohnung ist super geschnitten - in der Mitte das grosse Wohnzimmer, auf der einen Seite davon 2 Schlafzimmer und das Bad, auf der anderen 1 Schlafzimmer, Toilette, Küche und Flur. So kommt man sich nicht in die Quere und die Frühaufsteher stören nicht die Langschläfer 😉. Die Wohnung war sauber, angenehm temperiert trotz Wärme. Bei der Anreise gab es eine kleine Verwirrung wegen der benötigten Betten. Aber Sonja rief sofort zurück und innerhalb von 30 min kam jemand und die Sache war erledigt. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, See, Restaurants, Supermarkt und kleine Wanderwege zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir haben das Auto nicht gebraucht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.🥰

Wonderful location and good views from Rosemarie’s apartment. Everything in Strobl is easily within walking distance of her AirBnB. Check-in was easy and I’d recommend using your smartphone light to help find and enter the code for the key box (it’s in the underground garage). Entrance to her apartment will require navigating up many stairs but you are rewarded with a wonderful view of the local Parrish church and the mountains. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was well equipped…she has two very large balconies (bedroom & living room) which is nice. We were informed early on that some of the doors leading to the balconies were in need of repair and could not be used…the main door to the large south facing balcony. There is an onsite person who can be contacted to help open the very large sliding glass door in the living room. All in all a very wonderful place to stay in the Salzkammergut…lots to do and see. I highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay in Stephan’s place. He was warm and welcoming and very flexible about us leaving our luggage early. The apartment was nicely decorated, comfortable and worked well for a family of 5 adults. The bus into Salzburg was easy and quick. Definitely recommend this spot!

We have been very lucky. We loved Claudia and Claudia's apartment. It was perfect for us. Warm, cosy and with everything we needed. The village of Fuschl and the lake are delightful and well placed for trips around. Her recommendation to use the bus for Salzburg was a good idea. There is a bakery and a grocer just a few steps away. We can't wait to go back.
