Holiday rentals with a home theatre in San Diego

Julia’s place was everything we hoped for and more—exactly as described and just as beautiful as the photos. We came to San Diego to run the Rock and Roll Marathon, and the location couldn’t have been more ideal. Being within walking distance to the start line made race day smooth and stress-free. The home itself was clean, stylish, and full of thoughtful touches. Our kids felt right at home the moment we arrived, and they especially loved the projector—it made movie nights feel just like being at the theater. Nestled in a lively neighborhood near Balboa Park and a great selection of restaurants, this stay truly made our marathon weekend unforgettable.

The perfect midweek getaway that we needed! What a beautiful space conveniently located right above the beach that gives the most spectacular view of the ocean! Quiet, roomy, and the most perfect, serene, retreat that makes you forget anyone else is even around. The photos in this listing don’t lie! We had the best time, ate some amazing food at the easily accessible restaurants (all in walking distance), soaked up all the sun and relaxed and enjoyed watching the surfers from bed in the morning and sunsets in the evening. We will definitely be back!

Incredibly clear, instructions and communication made it very easy to park, check in, and find the gym in the building. Gorgeous place with a very beautiful view. Sparsely decorated but exceptionally clean. We only stayed one night for a concert and were disappointed that we were not staying longer. We actually decided to hang out in the morning until checkout and work from the condo instead of going straight home when we woke up. It was very peaceful and beautiful. The workout center was OK but much better than a hotel gym. Overall great experience!

For me n my boyfriends first solo trip together , this place was perfect ! Our Host was amazing, super friendly. The place itself was so homey like and felt comfortable! Definitely will be coming back !! 😊

Charlotta was very helpful with the instructions and communicative. The apartment was perfect for our stay to watch the Padres play. Lots of walkable things to do. The apartment felt like home and was comfortable. Easy check in and checkout. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone you wants bay and city views.

This is my 3rd time staying at Park12 and I can confirm it is known for its city accessibility & scenic views - Alexis was able to accommodate my last minute request for a weekend stay (memorial weekend 😅) without sacrificing cleanliness 🧼 Highly recommend her listing 🙏 🔥

There isn’t anything negative to say about this property. Did miss my Keurig coffee pot. ;) We enjoyed every minute we spent here. The close proximity of old town, the beach, Little Italy, and all the places we wanted to go and see was perfect. I want to thank Patrick for having such a beautiful home to share with us. We will definitely book again on our next visit to San Diego. Recommend this home to everyone!

I've made three trips to San Diego in the past year. I stayed in two different airbns; one being this one, one downtown, and one upscale hotel, 7th floor bayside downtown. This was my favorite spot by far. Even if your business or pleasure is downtown (we do Padres), the uber fares or car rental is worth it to stay out in El Cajon at this spot. It is immaculate, beautifully decorated, and so peaceful. The hill view, quiet, and night and morning sounds are great. Nice view of the city lights. Almost too many areas/seating spots in the house to decide where to have your coffee or your drink. Neighbors waved, hot tub maintenance knocked on the door to check in, etc. The only issue was uber/delivery having trouble finding the house because there is a road that was likely once open but is now private, so they go to the wrong spot. I loved it here.

Words cannot describe how amazing the experience my family and I had at this place. The house was everything shown in the pictures and then some. We were more excited after seeing the place in person than we were when we saw the pictures. Everything we needed during our stay was provided with the house. Michael was absolutely the best Super Host that anyone could asked for. He provided us with all the assistance that we needed with utilizing the technology such as connecting our laptops to the double monitors, the projector screens on the patio, the jacuzzi, the google tv setups. He was very detailed oriented and answer questions before I realized I needed the answers to. When I did have a question Michael responded very quickly. He gave us some amazing recommendations for restaurants and entertainment. He was also very down to earth and easy to talk to. Last but not least, Michael treated us like family and not like a business transaction.

We absolutely loved this place!! It’s was spotless clean, spacious, quiet neighborhood (perfect for a family), and on top of it all, my kiddo loved the free snacks. The whole experience felt like a hotel, but obviously more spacious and comfortable. I would definitely go back and recommend!

We had a fantastic stay—we enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful home. The kitchen was well stocked and the outdoor area was wonderful. Patrick and Sara were great hosts. We would love to come back to stay when we visit the area!

Grant: the house was fabulous! My only regret is that we couldn’t have shared it with others! It was the perfect party house. If we’re ever in San Diego again we’re going to see if this house is available. I’d like to share it with family & friends. And I’d like to explore San Diego further. Nate finished in the top 1% of over 17,000 runners in the Rock & Roll half marathon and it was a blessing that he could come back and chill after the race at such a lovely space! Great relaxing place to stay! Lot’s of things to do for families. From the immediate initial contact, to instructions beforehand, to several messages prior to our the stay and checking in… everything was great! The home was very lovely and clean with one exception of the pet odor in the main area. No AC but we appreciated all of the fans and the cool breeze with all windows opened. We could not have asked for a better location. Overall a great place and would definitely recommend and visit again.

Such a wonderful place! I would definitely stay again. Seems really big compared to other units we’ve stayed in. The balcony faces in and you can really see all the inside garden with a little bit of the ocean.

Our family had a delightful stay. It was a clean apartment in a great location right next to the beach. We’ll be back!

Unit was great. It was clean and comfortable. I wish there were more hooks to hang towels and swimsuits on. Also the hallway leading to the unit had plumbing issues they were repairing. So the hallway stunk pretty bad and it kind of came into the room. But they did have fans on it and the issue should be resolved soon. I would stay in this unit again.

The vacation unit met our needs in every way. A fully outfitted kitchen was a real plus for our family who loves to cook on vacation. Parking was easy & conveniently close to unit. The biggest plus was the location… so close to the beach! What a find!
