“Excellent location within walking distance to Downtown San Luis Obispo! Fantastic hospitality - the friendliest hosts I’ve experienced at an Airbnb (Thank you very much John and Maridel!) They offered many suggestions of things to do and places to eat, as well as a lot of history about the area and the home! Very comfortable beds! Beautiful back yard! It is attached to main house, but has a separate entrance and complete privacy. Very clean! Some nice extra touches like tangerines and coffee! Only thing lacking was a sofa. There were 2 director type chairs in the living room area. One bed was in this main living area and the other in a separate bedroom. It was perfect for our needs (girls’ getaway), and would be great for a family, but might be a little awkward for 2 couples.”

“Charlene's place is incredible. The house is beautiful with a huge kitchen, three bathrooms, and five spacious and comfortable sleeping spaces. My friends and I loved how close the house was to downtown and restaurants. My favorite part of the experience was having comfortable sleeping arrangements and unique places around the house to relax and visit with my closest friends. The porch and back yard fire pit areas were huge hits for us. Charlene is a wonderful host, very quick to communicate and ready to help in any scenario. We experienced some unusually warm weather in February, and Charlene was quick to help us get the AC working in the house so we could cool off and be comfortable. I will recommend Charlene's place to anyone coming in to SLO. Very pleased with our stay. Cheers!”
