In the middle of nature but only 20 minutes from Gothenburg, you will find this idyllic place. Here you can stay comfortably in a newly built guest house with fireplace, wood-fired sauna and hot tub. Around the whole house is the large balcony. Below is a cozy path (50 m) to the private jetty for a morning swim. Take a ride with the rowing boat and try your luck fishing or borrow our two SUPs. In the immediate vicinity, there is wilderness with plenty of trails, including the Vildmarksleden, for hiking, running and mountain biking. Airport: 8 minutes Chalmers golf course: 5 min

Upper Järkholmen

Relax in this unique and tranquil accommodation with views that extend across the entire Askimsfjorden all the way out to Tistlarna. Here you can sit and study nature, the archipelago, hear the seagulls' cries with your morning coffee and go down and take a morning swim as the first thing you do. Children can move freely in the area as there is no direct traffic, instead there are nice natural areas around the area. High standard villa with twelve beds. From the veranda, there is a panoramic view of the emerald green Oppstrynsvatnet and the surrounding mountains, as well as a view of the Breifonna glacier, which is an arm of the Jostedalsbreen. The villa has a large sunny terrace with partial roof top. Fully equipped kitchen, dining table for twelve people, sofa group, WiFi, Apple TV, bathroom with shower, laundry room with extra toilet and sink. Washer and dryer as well as iron and tray. Beach and hiking areas just outside the door.

Our modern log house is situated right on a lakeshore. The open-concept design with lots of wood and light creates a warm, friendly atmosphere. On 85m2 you'll find panoramic windows with a fantastic view on the lake, a soap stone fireplace, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Enjoy fishing, paddling, swimming, hiking and x-country skiing right in front of your doorstep! Our neighbouring little farm with our kids, three sled dogs, three cats, a garden and chickens can induce a farm holiday experience.

This is a peaceful and picturesque place, perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation from everyday life. Here you can relax and enjoy the silence of nature. Immediate proximity to the beach and mountains. Beautiful in all seasons. In Hovden there is little light pollution and it provides good opportunities to see the northern lights in the period August to March. The midnight sun lasts from mid-May to mid-July, a few weeks before and after this period the nights are as bright as the days.

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Here you are surrounded by high mountains, a lake, rivers and waterfalls. The area are good for trout fishing, and it's possible for the guests to rent a boat during the summer. If you like hiking, there are many great routs in the area. If you just are looking for silence and beautiful scenery, just sit down and enjoy!
