A thoroughly wonderful stay in the charming hen house with beautiful views of the water. Timmo and Liza were the sweetest hosts - and the food, which they made partly with vegetables from the garden, was fantastic and was served in their atmospheric cedar greenhouse. A big thank you from here - and a huge recommendation!

We had a lovely stay for a week at the houseboat and didn’t want to leave. The views and location are amazing. So peaceful with lots of birds to see and beautiful scenery. The sauna and cold dips were a great start to the day. Ulrica was very friendly and welcoming with some lovely recommendations. We hope to go back again soon.

Absolutely stunning cabin! We enjoyed a few nights here whilst traveling around Norway; the cabin was extremely well presented, spotless, private and so peaceful. The additional sleeping cabin was wonderful to watch the sunrise/set, as well as having the hot tub to enjoy after a busy day of walking. Bergen is easy to get to via car or the bus stop nearby the cabin. Knut was a great host, very friendly and he even offered to meet us upon check in and help with our bags as there is a short 1-2minute walk from the car park to the cabin; which we had no issues with despite having suitcases. We would highly recommend Knut’s cabin for anyone wanting to relax in the peace and quiet.

Absolutely wonderful lakeside cottage with a wood sauna and outdoor pool. Peaceful and beautiful environment and cozy and spacious cottage. Everything went great.

For the third year in a row, I have enjoyed the fantastic little cottage by the lake! The host Ulrich received me as kindly and helpfully as usual. Here you can really relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. If you sit on the balcony by the jetty, you are guaranteed to see a variety of birds swimming by and in the surrounding forest, there are squirrels and deer that come close. The cottage is incredibly cozy and has everything you could need during your stay. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped and charcoal is available if you want to grill outside instead. The little cottage on Vättersö has become a nice annual tradition for me and I am already looking forward to next year!

Sverre has been a great host - friendly and proactive in providing useful recommendations of what to do in the surroundings. The cabin’s location is peaceful and is great for nature lovers and those who want something a little off the beaten track. A nice wooden cabin with view of the water, like a dream.

Real liked our comfortable cabin, right by the lake, enjoyed swimming, sauna and fishing.

We would definitely visit this place again. This is our fifth time booking one of Andreas’ places, and it's always perfectly lovely.

We had the most pleasant days in the cottage! Beautiful cottage, really nice view and area. We took advantage of both the outdoor pool and the rowing boat, which was completely idyllic. John was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Can only be recommended, and we will gladly return.

The second time I, and this time with my wife, visit this nice and welcoming accommodation. Gammelgården with its 18th century roots and the more recently built Stallet (in the old style) is located in the fantastic Kullabygden and the idyllic village of Arild, just a stone's throw from hiking trails, swimming and top restaurants. Also within walking distance of Arild's vineyard. We would be glad to come back!

We were very much looking forward to our stay in Norway and the host was always available. We chose to stay in peace and nature with sauna and hot tub. For the use of this, we had to pay extra which is not very clearly stated. For this price, maybe a little more wood provided because you will certainly not be able to use this and since the price is already pricey anyway, if this is unlimited, we find it. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful view. However, a dangerous staircase, especially the hole down when you are upstairs. Children who are playing do not always have this in mind, maybe a fence provided for safety! The fireplace is definitely a plus because we love this coziness. We were able to admire the northern lights 5 of the 6 nights from the terrace. The kitchen equipment may be a little more extensive. We missed a mixer to mix our soup and a colander to shake off the spaghetti.

A great place for calming and grounding in the midst of nature. Great sauna and nice fire pit. It was easy to do business with Lotta, and the instructions were clear about everything. We had a camping stove with us and I recommend it to others, so you don't necessarily have to use a wood stove for coffee soup or other small heating. None of the insects hurt us, even though we didn't use repellents - the mosquito season is clearly already behind us. We hope you get the chance to come again!

We had a wonderful week in Christoffer's house. The location is unique and the view of the lake is fantastic. The kitchen was very well equipped. We used the canoes and the other boat to explore the lake. The highlight was the hot tub. And you can be in Gothenburg in less than 30 minutes. Christoffer described everything very well. We will definitely be back again.

We had an amazing family time, the house is beautiful, very functional and kids friendly. Samuel was the perfect host. Strongly recommend if you need to relax in nature!

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) and had a great time. The accommodation was perfect for us, the sauna and use of the snow shoes in the shed were an added bonus. The location was unreal, I can only think of positives, thank you Juha for making our trip to Finland so memorable!

We are so grateful to have had such a long stay in this house: the wonderful view to the see and the mountains in the changing light and colours was so beautiful - also the natural surrounding of the house - unforgetable! The house inside is very tastfully furnished - the kitchen perfect. We could feel, that Kundan lived here - sometime ago. We had a wonderful week at Lisa and Henrik’s cabin by the water! We very much enjoyed the peacefulness during both day and night and loved waking up to the sunrise by the water right in front of the bedroom window. We also had the chance to use the sauna which was such a treat! We didn’t have a car but managed to get around just fine with public transport and walking. Lisa and Henrik were both super responsive and helpful – the perfect hosts! We also very much enjoyed the company of Skorpan the cat, who came to visit a few times. ☺️ Thank you Lisa and Henrik, we hope to see you again sometime soon!

best little hide away from the hustle and bustle of everday life. 😀 The hut is decorated with so much love and eye for detail that you feel immediately like home. Everything is thought off from all necessary kitchen items to super comfy bathrobe. The terrace is amazing and gives you a beautiful view to the sea around... We surely did not want to leave, but would be more than happy to return❤️.

The views are spectacular and the house can only be described as a “kleines Kunstwerk”. The attention to detail is truly impressive! Thanks so much to Rønnaug for creating this wonderful place, and for the great hospitality.

We stayed in Arild's cabin for three days. The communication and reception were efficient and very friendly. The cabin is a wonderful place. Directly on the fjord, quiet, beautiful view. Everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
