Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

The result is Tyven — an 80 sqm boutique cabin with a large window facing Mjøsa — Norway's largest lake — from the kitchen. Featured in National Geographic Traveler. The cabin is handmade and a lot of timber has been used. Something is also reused. On the property there is also a wood-fired sauna and a hot tub.
