Holiday rentals with beach access in Scarborough State Beach

We loved our stay! It’s perfect distance to walk to dinner downtown. Off street parking was a huge plus. Brennan gave us a great recommendation upon our arrival! Love the touch of having snacks and drinks in the fridge. Overall perfect place to stay at in Newport!

Elaine has a lovely apartment. Very pristine and quiet with amazing views. Our stay was extremely comfortable. Her instructions were perfect and we had no problem with whatsoever anything. If you’re ever there do not miss the morning sunrise. Outstanding. Thank you Elaine & Rich for a lovely stay. We hope to come back some day.

Patty’s place is the perfect choice for a weekend getaway. My husband and I loved how quiet it was and the beach down the road was perfect for our morning coffee. We had the pleasure of meeting Patty and she was very responsive. We will definitely be back next year for another relaxing, quiet weekend together.

This apartment was perfect and adorable. Every detail was perfectly cared for. The house was just beautifully decorated! The hostess even baked us a delicious Irish soda bread. It exceeded our expectations!!!

Jay was an excellent host for my four-day stay. The location, cleanliness, parking convenience, and homey feeling all five star for the value. Liked Best: Very quiet, clean, lots of space, feather bed resulted in good deep sleep. Next time: I will know where the AC remote is without having to bother Jay. blessings and thanks, Doug / Dallas

We had a great MDW at Paul’s apartment. It was in a perfect location — walkable to Thames St. but also in a quiet area near King Park with beautiful water views and a great playground for our little one. Ideal location to start 10 mile drive and easy access to the Breakers and other mansions. The apartment is clean and neat and the fireplace was cozy for cooler temperatures at night. Of note, there are only sheer curtains on the windows and apartment gets very bright when the sun rises early. Paul has sleep masks in the closet and you may very well need them if you don’t want to wake up at sunrise!

Had a great two night stay. Easy check-in and out, peaceful spot, well taken care of, and nice snacks from the host. Thank you!

We loved this house! What a fabulous location, with beautiful beach access just a short walk away. The ocean views from nearly every window- no complaints! Loved the little details such as really nice, quality towels and super comfy beds and sheets/comforters. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Great place! Very spacious and clean. Matthew was also very accommodating and provided us with very helpful instructions about how to get in, where things are, and wifi log-in info. The backyard and frontyard were also great for our dog to explore around. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back another time.

The Salty Life was everything I could possibly have imagined and more. It was the perfect size to spend time with friends and family. It’s in walkable distance to so many shops/restaurants/attractions and although I’ve lived in Rhode Island my entire life, this place felt like an extension of what I would call home.

The house was very comfortable and clean. The view was very beautiful! There’s a large beautiful deck with comfortable furniture. The house has a certain ambiance to it, and the history of it must be interesting.

We loved out stay in this house! It was beautiful and prefect for our large group. Areas for improvement include: instructions on the automatic locking feature (we did something wrong one night and got locked out), at least 1 bed was very firm and the pillows were very flat, finally at least 1 bathroom had water pooling in the shower and sink while in use.

House was exactly as pictured and described. It was one of the cleanest rentals I have ever walked in to. so nicely decorated also! It has everything we needed and it was near the beaches and great restaurants in the area! Evelyn was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. Great rental!

We had three couples in their house. The house accommodated that quantity without issue. Kitchen was appropriately stocked with tools and appliances. Two decks were available, with the top one containing a small gas fire pit...Nice at night. The lower one had a bar-b-que grill. We never used it, but it was a good size. The driveway accommodated three vehicles, one of which was a Hummer, with room to spare. The were very responsive when we had a question or issue. No complaints from any of our guests. No problem recommending this place.

We had a great time at Ryan’s house in Narragansett which was about a 5 minute walk from Scarborough beach and surrounded by a pleasant, walkable neighborhood. There was ample room for 3 cars in the driveway. Beds were comfortable. We had teenage boys with us so we cooked a lot (!) and found all the tools and dishes we needed, and even spices and oils, etc. The shed was stocked with outdoor cushions for the backyard furniture, beach chairs and other beach supplies, and fuel for the gas grill. Enough room for our stuff too - surf boards etc. The fire pit was great. The owners checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. (Thank you both for a good getaway for all! )

Really great stay. Apartment was perfect for us. Less than 5 mins walk to the beautiful beaches and small town. Would stay again!

Anna's place was very clean and in a good location! She described the place well, as cozy but had everything you would need. She communicated very quickly and went the extra mile when we wanted to extend our stay. I would definitely rent from Anna again.

Clean clean sparkling clean! This Airbnb is in the perfect location to walk to all the shops, restaurants, and anything you want to do in downtown Newport! The beds were super cozy and the unit came with all the amenities you need for a trip, even beach towels and tissues in every room! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and checking in/out was a piece of cake. Will def be staying here again next time we are in Newport!

We rented Kathi's place for our girls trip to Newport! It was plenty big and spacious to comfortably accommodate our group of 5. The best part is the prime location! Couldn't have asked for a better one - the Bodhi spa is right across the street, good restaurants that we could just walk to, plenty of shopping on the street. Kathi was always very responsive and even gave us early check-in, which we truly appreciated. Having free parking is a bonus on Thames St, you know if you have ever been to Newport! Overall we all had a fabulous time. Thanks Kathi.

Richard‘s place was as advertised. It is a quick walk from the ferry and into town. It was clean and very comfortable for up to four people. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Block Island.

We love staying here. This was our 3rd or 4th year in a row that we stayed here. It is a great location so close to the beach and the inlet. The unit is always neat and clean and Courtney and Chris are great hosts.

This apartment was fantastic. All new, very comfortable, and super clean. Perfect spot for my weekend visit to Brown/RISD with family. Great location on Benefit St, right next to the new Brown Bee Coffee shop, which is excellent. Firas was a super responsive and friendly host. I hope to stay there again on a future visit.

Perfect home to accommodate our family of 4 on a mini beach getaway. Would absolutely stay again!
