Olbrück Castle is within sight and within walking distance. In the village there is a Maar with a Maarhof to stop off, swing golf and children's playground. Maria Laach Abbey is 20 minutes away, Nürburgring 25, Koblenz and Bonn about 40, Cologne 60 minutes. Car advisable, only limited buses, TRAIN STATION in Brohl.

We are looking forward to having you back. Of course, a lot has changed in the Ahr valley and there is still a lot to do, but for example the hiking trails are intact and nothing stands in the way of a nature vacation. Note: In addition, the tourist tax (€2.00 per night/per person) must be paid.

On the couch you can relax and watch TV or plan excursions. The balcony overlooking Schalkenbach will complete your stay!

The ideal apartment for peace seekers, hikers and nature lovers. Cozy apartment separate on the upper floor with bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom/toilet and fantastic distant views. We share the house entrance, then guests go up to the separate apartment. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed. News about the 2021 flood: We are on the mountain and were not affected. All roads in the area are now passable again.
