It is a place where the winding mountain roads are inconvenient, there is no television, but the quiet sound of the mountains, the clear air, and the stars and moonlight like the ocher of the night greet you. We welcome those who do not miss the things left behind in the city and want to rest infinitely. It is recommended for those who are tired of city life and want to heal, rather than those who want to enjoy active activities or drinking and dancing. The accommodation is always disinfected. 'House with Forest' is located in the tranquil countryside of Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do. Located in a homestead built over 320 years ago, ‘Forest’ is a healing space in its own right, as it is surrounded by a charming stone wall and an eye-catching back garden. Time slows down in the forest. A day spent waking up to the sound of birds, strolling through pine forests, and tanning with vegetables from the garden will soothe your tiredness between busy daily life and human relationships. ‘家 with forest‘ was built of loess, and it is set up as a private house right next to the host's house, and has a separate entrance door, so it is cozy and safe. The host's 'Daepyeongbol Farmland' also grows eco-friendly aronia and dates, so you can explore organic farming practices. In addition, it is a 20-minute drive to the city of Gongju and Sejong, and is adjacent to Fortune King Tombs, Communist Castle, and Magoksa Temple, so you can also find a variety of attractions. Put down the hustle and bustle of everyday life like Little Forest in the comfortable ’Forest'.

Hamlet & Olive

It is a private building located on the hillside of Geumbyeonsan Mountain behind Kim Yu-jeong Munhak Village, where one team can fully enjoy the garden and accommodation for a day. We provide boiled towels and 100% cotton bedding filled with the smell of sunlight, washed every time. It is a bright accommodation with good sunlight through a large window. It is a studio type with two single beds side by side, so it is a basic for two adults, and up to four people are possible by providing additional bedding, and only up to four people, including infants, can enter. Free for children under 2 years old (up to 24 months), and no extra bedding is provided if free. You can see Mt. Samak, and if the weather is good, you can see the beautiful sunset full of red light. Breakfast is provided for a fee. (5,000 won/person, 3,000 won/person under elementary school, other menus such as brunch are available for consecutive stays) We don't offer barbecue service. Our accommodation does not have a kitchen, so you cannot cook. You can use the microwave and coffee pot.

Sunna and Grandpa's Log Cabin_Sun

Welcome to Sunna and Grandfather's Log Cabin_Sun. There are two themes of the sun. The first is "Looking at Gongaksan Mountain". I made the wall diagonal so that I could see Gongaksan Mountain, one of the 100 most famous mountains in Korea, and the sky above it. The second is "Breath, Rest". I didn't paint the room at all and finished it with cypress wood, hoping that the body and mind of the guests can comfortably breathe and rest. Also, I tried to make the place feel as spacious as possible, and to feel like everything is connected, by not blocking it as much as possible. The Sun is a house that Sunna's father made himself, except for the sink and table set. If you comfortably sit on the deck or the window that the sun is proud of, you can enjoy the dance of the clouds and the wind spreading over Mt. Gongja and the sky above it. The sound of birds and grass bugs moving around, and the sound of the stream across the street that you can hear if you listen carefully will comfort your heart.

In addition, Starway Ha-dong, Hansansa Temple, Maeam Jedawon, Seomjin River sandy beaches, restaurants and cafes are also within 5 minutes by car. The small annex finished with red clay and cypress has a toen floor, so it's a great place to chat over tea. It is a small guesthouse operated while enjoying rural life, so it is quiet and away from the village, so it is a place where you can relax quietly and comfortably while listening to the sounds of grasshoppers in the evening.

In Gwangyang Monguljae, a small house in the countryside where you can feel the atmosphere of the countryside, you can experience a walk in a quiet rural neighborhood. Monguljae was a house built by my parents in 2021, from the square crooked land that huddled in the hinterland. On March 1, 2024, I opened the annex that I had envisioned as Sarangchae from the time I first designed it as an Airbnb. It’s comfortable enough to stay with minimum facilities and it left the feature of the original building. (One group only for a day) You’ll enjoy to see an apple farm. *If you have small children who can sleep with you, you can make a reservation for 5 people.
