Great place for families to stay close to the Zoo!

We felt very comfortable in Lene's vacation home. The old house has been lovingly renovated and tastefully furnished and decorated. The garden is very well maintained and beautiful seating areas invite you to stay outdoors. Thank you for this beautiful place!

We stayed for 4 nights. This was the perfect place to explore Kristiansand while also having a lovely time “at home”. The kids loved the playroom upstairs.

The house was very spacious and cozily warm. The view of the mountains and the lake was very nice. The parking space with carport was very helpful for us in winter.

The apartment is great. Everything is very clean. The view is fantastic. You can sit on the terrace and simply enjoy it. Samy Sebastian and his father are very courteous hosts. 5 stars for that! Thank you for the delicious sandwiches and fruits upon our arrival. We've never experienced that before. The apartment is located in a very quiet and safe area. We really enjoyed our time and can highly recommend the accommodation.

A large apartment, clean and comfortable. The downside was that the cooking area and water were in a different room. But with all the other positive points, this was not insurmountable.

We expected a good apartment and got a fantastic one! Beautiful, everything in good condition and a nice west-facing balcony with good outdoor furniture. Great beds!

Amazing host The place is cozy and beautiful

House is located in a quiet residential area. Rebecca and her husband live upstairs, the apartment is on the ground floor, has its own terrace and a great view. The apartment has everything one needs, small kitchen with all the utensils, coffee machine, washing machine, smart TV, wifi etc. Also there is a private parking spot directly at the house. Rebecca and her husband were really great, always helping us out with recommendations and even organized a canoe for us for a day. I can highly recommend staying with them :)

We have already met numerous Airbnb accommodations, but this is by far the most beautiful and has inspired us both with the loving and very tasteful furnishings as well as the enchanting location on the water and the great surroundings. We very much regretted having to leave after two days and would have loved to stay a few days longer. Merethe & Tor are very dedicated hosts and have provided us with a beautiful menu as well as sweets and coffee.

Very friendly hostess, always available, always helpful. We felt very comfortable. When we are back in Kristiansand or the surrounding area, we will certainly stay at Marte again. Thank you very much!!!!

Thank you for a nice stay! The place met expectations, and even a little more. Cozy and clean apartment. Seamless and easy from booking to checkout. Perfect for those of us who did not want to stay in the middle of the city or in a hotel, but a short drive to both the city center and the Zoo.

A dream! Very cozy and maritime furnished apartment with two balconies overlooking the small harbor and the sea. Everything was super prepared and we would have liked to have stayed longer. Easy flexible check-in. Very friendly and easy communication.

We rarely found such a clean apartment. And on top of that, superbly equipped, chicly furnished and with a great cozy terrace. The location is also great to explore the coastal region around Lillesand and Kristiansand or if you want to use the ferry. Everything was just right 😃👍
