Holiday rentals with an EV charger in Skye

What even to say. This is SUCH an amazing respite. A slice of Highland Heaven. There are 100 apartments in this converted Abbey, which is RIGHT on Loch Ness. It’s beyond beautiful. Playground, pool, outdoor chess, walking trails, all amazing. We had great service from the Highland Clib checking in, with an incredibly friendly front desk worker. Walkable to everything, maybe 4 minutes was the longest walk we had. The local boat cruise is a must. Watching the boats go through the canal was also fun. Basically, incredible. We will be back.

Loved our time here. Exactly as described. Beautiful accommodation with a lovely view. Hot-tub was a nice touch at the end of a day exploring the local area. We had dinner in the restaurant in the attached hotel. Food was good and staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting. We would stay here again. 🌸

What an amazing place! Beautiful, quiet, in the middle of nowhere but within half an hour of the best shellfish ever (Arisaig), a supermarket, the ferry at Mallaig and the Glenfinnan Viaduct. The nature in this area is almost too beautiful to describe. Lush green mountains, beautiful lochs, white (and some empty) beaches, forrest, all we were looking for. The apartment itself looks exactly like what it is, part of a manor. A small but cozy kitchen (with a double oven in which we made a roast dinner), good beds, great shower and a big living room with coaches and sofas and a wood burner for chilly Highland nights. We (a family of four plus dog) loved it!

Everything about our stay in the boys dormitory was superb. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in such a unique accommodation especially with all of the access to the abbeys modern facilities was a huge bonus. Me and my wife couldn’t get enough of the lake views from our sitting room.

An absolutely fantastic place. The views from the accommodation are stunning. The place had everything we needed and was spotless. Henriette was welcoming and responsive. Lochaline is a lovely village with friendly locals. It's a great place for a bit of peace and quiet, but easy to connect with Mull too. There is a shop, petrol station and wonderful restaurant in the village. Hope to be back again soon.

This place is quite special: the Apartment is in the oldest Part of the converted Abbey. It is very large, nicely furnished with extremely comfortable sofas and beds and has a very nice kitchen and bathroom. But this isn‘t all, there is the swimmingpool, gameroom etc. that you can use - even though the place was pretty full we hardly saw other people and did not hear anything from them in the flat. The absolut greatest thing about the place is it’s location right on the Loch Ness, tranquill and beautiful.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Florence ist sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns in einer ungewöhnlichen Situation sehr ausgeholfen. Vielen Dank nochmal. :) Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich und die Betten bequem. Wir können die Wohnung sehr weiterempfehlen.

Fantastic hosts with a great welcome, fresh flowers everywhere and a visit from Sara to see if we were OK. The house is amazing with so many great features but the views of the Summer Isles and beyond are simply stunning. Very comfortable house with everything you need.

Where do I begin? The scenic views, the beautiful home, the attention to detail paid with furnishings and amenities, the chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting for us upon our arrival, or just how nice and friendly Paul and Sally are! The Dark Cottage is hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. We felt right at home and were so sad to leave. The location may seem remote to some, but it is definitely worth it for the beautiful views and peacefulness. The sheep grazing all over the island is an added bonus! Sally is an artist and has some of her artwork displayed in the home and some for sale. We bought a piece to bring home with us! We will never forget our time at The Dark Cottage!

Our first visit to Skye and a week made all the better by the property and location. Dorothy was on hand when needed and the property had everything we needed, was really well equipped and had a place for everything. It's at the quieter end of the island, which we liked, but does mean a few more miles to see some of the well known sites. Not an issue, as so many things to see and do on the way north and the scenery never got old. The only small issue for us, was the internet, although it is there, if you need to work while away, or check in with friends/relatives, any video meetings won't work, even some internet browsing, was very slow. Dorothy kindly offered her home and internet connection to use for a client meeting we had, but we re-arranged the meeting, as did not wish to impose on her kind hospitality. Property is 6 miles down a single lane road with passing places that is no issue, as long as you drive safely and navigate the pot holes and sheep. 5 Stars overall.

Thank you Ian! We had an amazing holiday! Even if the weather wasn't on our site we had a great stay in Ord House! The house itself is very good equipped. We had everything we needed. And we loved fireplace! So cozy. The area is also very nice. Lots of amazing walks around. We can't recommend enough!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Gordon’s home. The setting is beyond beautiful- even better than the pictures. One of our favorite things to do for this trip was just sit on the deck and look at the amazing view. The home exceeded all expectations as well. One of the best AB&B’s!

Beautiful house with stunning surroundings. Easy to walk everywhere. To the brewery, ti rhe local shop and pub and to the boat tha cross to Skye. I have felt at home. Murdoch was very communicative and wanted to make sure we have all the amenities we needed. I cannot fault our stay.

Perfect location for exploring Skye and surrounding areas. Dornie Croft was an outstanding property very tastefully finished with everything you could need right down to lunch boxes and thermos flasks. Would not hesitate to return.

Beauitful place for 3 nights mid trip. Lots of space to relax and unwind. Kitchen great for a few meals at home. Extra perks like built in boiling kitchen water, luxurious robes…Beautiful space, excellent amenities. Lovely spot. So pleased!

This place is great. It's cozy, colorful and really well cared for. We always look for a well stocked kitchen in an Airbnb, and this kitchen was very well stocked. Everything you need to cook a proper meal. Location is an excellent base for exploring the highlands. Clancy recommended a great local walk which we did, and it was lovely. Great spot!

We had an incredible 3 night stay at Skyfall. One of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed! Spotlessly clean rooms with an amazing view. A lot of effort was made to make our stay feel extra special. It was the perfect birthday getaway and the hosts were very kind and welcoming from the minute we arrived. This makes a huge difference compared to the standard ‘self check-in’ experience that a lot of places offer. Kris’s Airbnb was the nicest place I have ever stayed at. The location was perfect, with restaurants, a gas station and a grocery store right down the road. The place was beautiful and breathtaking. Couldn’t have asked to stay anywhere better.

We loved our stay at No3, the Old Convent. The apartment was well furnished and comfortable and an ideal base for us to walk the Great Glen Way. We were a little unsure how staying in an apartment would work with taking our dog but it was fine and he loved exploring the areas around the Old Convent. Chris and Felicity were great hosts.

We are just back home after a short break in Lochaline. It really is a beautiful apartment with an amazing view across the water to Mull. The house was fully accessible with parking right outside the door, all on one level and an easily accessible shower. Very much needed for me as I’m disabled and it can be so hard to find suitable places to stay. The house was very clean with a great selection of utensils and supplies like fairy and dishwasher tablets. I highly recommend a stay at Lesley’s place!

We absolutely loved stopping here we felt so comfortable Chris and felicity greeted us on arrival they were so helpful went through everything in the apartment they gave great advice on where to eat and what to go see there was a welcome file with lots of information about the history of the area restaurants and things to see and do with great directions. leaflets in the draws of things to do it’s in a perfect spot to explore. The Apartment was very clean extremely well decorated (felicity you have great taste in decor) and spacious the kitchen was well equipped if you want to cook (we didn’t ) it’s about 8-10 minutes walk to the main resort if you want to eat and drink out same distance to do the Loch Ness for the cruise. Bathroom was spacious and very clean same with the bedroom the bed was very comfortable. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again thank you for having us Chris and felicity From Steph & Steve

It is really convenient to able to charge the EV overnight & get on your next day visit in the surrounding area. We love the mountains view & we have enjoyed our stay.
