From here you can also explore the rest of the island and mainland at your leisure.

Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

The Ridge Pod

The Ridge Pod situated in Elgol on the Strathaird peninsula on the Isle of Skye. Featuring uninterrupted views across Loch Scavaig and the Cuillin mountain range. Located in a small and picturesque farming and fishing village on the south of the island. The Ridge Pod is accommodation only and is self-catered. There is a private balcony with outdoor seating and lights. Please note that The Ridge Pod is situated on a working croft. Unfortunately no dogs are allowed.

The Wee Skye Lodge

Short Term Let Licence: HI-30565-F Lovely wee lodge with fantastic panoramic glen views. The lodge is fully equipped with corner sofa, digital TV with DVD player, kitchenette (no cooking facilities except microwave), double bed (bedding included), electric heating, hot water, dining table and full bathroom with electric shower. There is a fire pit for guests outside (please supply your own firewood / kindling etc) The Wee Skye Lodge is 4 miles from Portree.

Our beautiful wooden pods are set on the hillside behind the Cowshed Boutique Bunkhouse and enjoy amazing views across to the bay and the hilly surroundings of Uig. In a wonderful location to explore the Isle of Skye, The Cowshed is perfectly situated for enjoying spectacular sunsets in a peaceful setting. We have 7 pods available, and each of these cosy spaces is equipped with enough comforts for you to enjoy a relaxing break surrounded by nature.

The beach is located a short walk from your hut where you will find an array of wildlife including the mighty Golden & Sea Eagle's, otter's and Seal's. The Little Skye Bothy

We have replaced our Little Skye Bothy in 2022. Same view but a little more space and you still have your own piece of tranquility with outstanding views to the loch and the mountains. There will be more photos to follow soon. The pod has kitchen facilities, 2 ring hob and microwave (no oven). There is a shower room, breakfast bar and stools, TV and wifi is available.
