Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Skye

Although a little expensive, the views, and being in an Abbey was an amazing experience. We had plenty of room and the apartment had everything we needed including tea! The canal locks were a thrilling surprise to watch when going for coffee or ice cream. Loch Ness cruise was beautiful. Everything you could need from coffee to restaurants and gift shops to convenience store all walking distance but very quiet complex with a city link bus stop 5-6 minute walk to explore the highlands.

Sarah’s cozy, clean home was so comfortable and practical! The beds were so comfy! Our hostess was very responsive to any inquiries we gave her. Having the crib/ cot already set up for us was such a hospitable touch. We loved taking our morning coffee in the cozy window seat and soaking in the stunning views!

A really nice accommodation in a perfect location to explore the Isle of Skye. Handy that they allow dogs since we were travelling with ours. Had everything we needed, kitchen for cooking food, washing machine for cleaning our clothes after hikes and a tv with everything set up for when we wanted to chill in the evenings. The accommodation is right on the main road so easy access to all the main places and there is a private parking space just for the guests. The only down side was the cost as it was very expensive to stay here. However, this has just fallen foul of rip off Britain and they are by no means alone in this aspect.

Great place to stay in Portree. Beautiful view of the harbor right out the front windows. There is public parking on Quay street along the pier, and down near the dock. It is easy to get a spot in the evening if you wait for the boat tour traffic to clear out. It's very walkable to restaurants, shops and cafes. Overall, would recommend to anyone coming to the Isle of Skye!

Linda’s place was perfect! The pictures didn’t do justice. The beds were comfortable, the shower was nice and hot and the location is super. You can walk to everything. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dishes and utensils. There are spices, oil and a variety of supplies probably left by former guests, like pasta, some canned goods, jam, and condiments. These are so helpful when preparing meals. Parking was easy on the street.Linda was very responsive and checking in was easy. This is a terrific place. If it’s available, grab it! Highly recommend!

Mi familia y yo disfrutamos de las estancia en la casa. Todo lo necesario para pasar nuestros 3 días en un enclave maravilloso. Incluso Elisabeth dejo cosas para desayunar en caso de que no pudiésemos comprar de camino a la casa. Está en medio del bosque, así que total tranquildad y unas vistas preciosas. Si vas a visitar Inverness y Skye, está en un lugar estupendo para que ambos lugares sean accesibles y rápidos en coche. Aparcar en la puerta es un plus.

perfect location, lovely home, everything clean and functional. unfortunately there was a strong unpleasant smell inside (maybe fried food or a leaky trash bag) when we arrived, and it took some time to go away. the mattress in the room near the living room was also not really comfortable. still, it's very convenient especially for those who don't drive, as buses depart from the main square just a short walk away from the house.

We enjoyed a delightful long weekend at Croft 41. The house was perfect for our needs (two families with kids), the location absolutely stunning, and the wood-fired hot tub was also real highlight! Rachel is a very friendly and communicative host. Would definitely return in the future if we were looking to stay in this beautiful corner of Skye.

Fantastic stay! We originally were going to be three and the hosts were willing to let us have a third if we provided our own bedding and air mattress. We ended up being just two but there would have been plenty of space for an air mattress. Pub next door can be a bit loud but nothing outrageous and certainly worth the price. Finding parking right outside on the road was no issue. Would absolutely stay again.

We really loved staying at Carly & Roger’s place — it was spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. We found ourselves wishing we had planned to stay longer instead of just the one night but alas, we were driving onwards. Totally recommend this place!

What a beautiful stay! Nearby to many beautiful natural landscapes Skye is so well known for. The house was well stocked with all you’d need and very clean on arrival. The sheep in the back yard are so fun to watch graze and play

We loved The Fisherman's Loft, and hope to stay there much longer next time we come to Scotland. Leo recommended we take the ferry, but since it was booked up we took the longer route from Edinburgh to the Skye Bridge. Take his advice and book the ferry early. We had a long, tense drive on A851, and arrived later than we wanted. But when we woke in the morning and looked out the window, everything was wonderful! It's right on the water, and we even had a seal basking on a rock. We explored the Sleat Peninsula the first day, then spent the next day driving around much of the Trotternish Peninsula. I wish we had booked another couple nights so we could have spent a day at the Fisherman's Loft, and another day exploring more of the Sleat Peninsula. It's an incredible place. I was able to book the ferry for our return, and we loved the experience, even on a windy day. The Fisherman's Loft is somewhat isolated from the busy Isle of Skye, and that's its charm. Highly recommended!

57 Degrees North is absolutely stunning! It is situated on the Isle of Skye perfectly. It’s a perfect distance from town to feel like you’re in the country but close enough to grab something from the store. The home was truly spotless and cozy. The views are worth every penny. Truly a special place to holiday. Instructions for the home were thorough and well thought out. The home had everything we needed for our trip.

Ticket Office was immaculate! Quirky and really well renovated from what it was. Very clean and comfortable throughout and well equipped with more than you will need! Lovely touch with gifts on arrival. Nothing is any trouble and communication was excellent through the booking process up to departure. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here! 🚂

Hidden gem in Fort Williams! Easy walk to downtown and restaurants, close to Ben Nevis hiking. (The flat is up the hill from downtown--you can shorten the walk with common use stairways) The flat itself is quite nice, we enjoyed our stay immensely!

We loved Mary Flora’s place - it was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Mary Flora was so lovely and provided us wonderful hospitality. We used the kitchen a lot and loved the stainless steel cookware. We really appreciated that the cookware was great quality. The bed was so comfortable. The shower had great pressure and was hot immediately. Thank you Mary Flora. I would recommend her place to everyone and would stay here again if we come back to Skye.

A great location - near the village but tucked up a quiet drive so peaceful. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. Michael and Fiona were very welcoming. Beautiful views over the water from most windows tempted us out to the wonderful surrounding area.

Nice stay for one night as we were passing through town. Comfortable for my family of 4. Easy to get in and we drove into town for dinner and breakfast.

Excellent location for access to Oban & the highlands.. Clean, tidy, comfortable apartment. Friendly helpful host who had excellent communication before and during my stay. Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough positive things about Michael’s listing in Fort William. First of all, I LOVED Fort William! Second of all, if I were Michael, I would forget renting out this apartment as an Airbnb and live in it forever! I loved my time in both Fort William and the Airbnb! The apartment is literally right downtown in the heart of Fort William. We went across to the Highland Cinema for breakfast (yogurt bowls) twice, and we went next door to Nevis Bakery for their award winning shortbread. We walked up and down the streets, ate, shopped, climbed many stairs for coffee, and walked to the train station. Some people complain in their reviews about the noise. The apartment is downtown. People do not go to bed at 8 PM. You are going to hear people talking, maybe a dog barking, but the sounds are happy and cheerful. There was never any shouting or fighting or music of any kind. We (two 50+ and two 70+) went right to sleep both nights, and my husband and I slept with our windows open.
