Apartment holiday rentals in Solingen

Super apartment, spacious living room, large bathroom with the best shower cubicle ever. Was there in June. Floor heating not on. Apartment completely tiled with small, clean carpets in the right places. Space for wardrobe, hanger in the closet and also additional small parts divider, shoe cabinet spacious. Hooks in the bathroom and towel racks, good lighting, good exhaust system. Battery-powered floor vacuum cleaner at hand, good. All necessary cleaning utensils, rags, cleaning agents, garbage bags. Everything is plentiful and easy to find. Good bed, good blackout. You have to arrange the bedding but ok. Good windows + view. Large TV available with Lan (but I have not tested it). Internet and Wi-Fi good. Enough seating available and dining table in front of kitchen. Enough dishes, cutlery, glasses, cups. SENSEO, toaster, microwave, kettle all in tiptop condition. I only missed an iron (now available) and an extractor hood. Kitchen good! 2 CERAN, fridge + freezer, sink + dishwasher + utensil.

Easy check-in, free street parking and 5 min walking distance from the promenade.

Thank you very much, we will definitely come back. ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ What we liked was:::: - Communication was super fast and uncomplicated, as well as check-in and check-out. - The apartment is as shown in the photos, large and well equipped. - The location is great☺️. - Free parking 50m away from the apartment :: also super good. - Restaurant, café and pharmacy 2 minutes' walk away. - Cable car to Schloss Burg 5 minutes' walk and definitely recommended.

Thomas and Claudia are great hosts. Very friendly, helpful, committed owners of the alpaca farm who do wonderful work for children using the alpacas. The attic space is super nice and despite the warm weather it remained wonderfully cool, just like the forests around it. Absolutely recommended! We'd love to come back. Thank you!

Everything perfect and as promised the only thing that slightly downgraded the experience is that the Wii couldn't read it's discs anymore and one of the remotes was malfunctioning. It's an old console but since it was advertised it made me a lil sad.

Very stylishly designed accommodation with everything you need for a short stay. For a longer stay, the kitchen might be too small, but that's perhaps also an individual thing, since I like to cook myself. Public transport is within walking distance, the way back to the apartment is a good calf workout if, like me, you come from the flat countryside. :) Communication was great. I had a few questions about the arrival in advance, which could all be clarified quickly and in good time, so that a relaxed arrival was possible. We traveled as a couple and felt very comfortable. We slept very well in the bed, it was very comfortable. Overall, it was a nice stay in a nice, small basement apartment.

Our far too short time in Vera's small loft was rainy but still incredibly relaxing. We felt right at home thanks to Vera's warm nature. The accommodation is super clean and decorated with visible creativity, love and craftsmanship in all corners. It is really very cozy and, due to the many upcycling and the beautiful location, exceptional and close to nature. Despite the rain, we sat for a long time in the covered outdoor area, watching the cats and ducks and listening to the pouring rain. Lake Baldeney is within walking distance through the beautiful forest and restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby. Fantastic place. Had all the listed amenities and more. The hosts were excellent at communicating with me and were very flexible. Thoroughly recommend for someone who wants a nice break in Düsseldorf.

A real feel-good place! The apartment is not only beautifully and stylishly furnished, but also super clean and well equipped – you can see how much love for detail is in here. The location is wonderfully quiet and perfect for switching off. The highlight: the beautiful, spacious balcony. Communication with Tanja was totally pleasant, fast and easy. Communication with Andrei was easy, quick, and goal-oriented. I felt well looked after. Unfortunately, I was not able to use the domicile as planned for personal reasons. However, the rental period could easily be relocated. In this respect, Andrei was very flexible with my wishes. Thank you very much. I would recommend the place and especially the host.

In everything, studio corresponded to the descriptions and is located on a park-like area. An environment to feel good with lots of green. You have to cope with the narrow bed (1.40 m) if you live in the apartment as a couple. Unpleasant is the attention via a private road, which the neighbor rigorously provided with floor thresholds in front of his property, which are uncomfortable to run over. Orientation of the outdoor seating/ terrace towards the north-east offers enough light and sun in summer.

This was by far my best Airbnb stay so far – because the hosts were just incredibly warm, warm, and straightforward. You immediately felt welcome, almost like with friends. Thank you for this special experience!

Elena and Dieter were two super lovely hosts. Checking in was also possible a little later in the evening without any problems. The room was very clean and modern. You could have a very good conversation and still get a tip or two for Düsseldorf :-)

We loved our stay at Jan's place. Spacious and well appointed, it lived up to our expectations, which made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. We will definitely stay with Jan when we are next in Düren.

A nice place to stay in a quiet area. Very clean and the hosts were very accommodating! Unfortunately, the whirlpool could no longer be used after 10 pm (at least the "bubble function"), which was a bit annoying for us, as we were on the road all day and wanted to relax in the evening. It was also relatively "dark" in the accommodation itself, due to poor lighting. However, you can tell that the hosts have put a lot of effort and thought into the furnishings and design. A small "basic set" of drinks and snacks was also great. All in all, a nice and quiet place to stay.

Christoph's service was really wonderful. He was attentive to us at all times and for anything we needed. The apartment is beautiful, everything is very carefully thought out to the millimeter and very well thought out for anyone. The house is really cozy. The lighting is very relaxed with those views of the terrace. Without a doubt, my mother and I rested and relaxed as much as we needed. The jacuzzi is amazing. We had a very nice experience. We will definitely repeat

The apartment is very spacious, with high ceilings and large windows. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, freshness of the bed linen and a comfortable bed. The blinds in the bedroom were very useful, thanks to them I was able to sleep. The good pressure in the shower was also pleasing. The kitchen was disappointing. There was no dishwasher, although it was listed in the amenities. We were looking for a place with an equipped kitchen, so that we could cook during our five-day stay. A kitchen without a dishwasher is a thing of the past. Half a day spent washing dishes is not an option for those who intend to cook their own food. The refrigerator was even more disappointing - it was slightly cooler than the air in the kitchen. No freezers were found at all. To cool the drinks, we turned the regulator to the maximum, then loaded the purchases, and by evening all the products were frozen. We had to throw out all the greens, vegetables and buy again. At the same time, we had to buy a sharp knife and a grater. If you eat exclusively outside the house, the location is excellent, a bunch of cafes. With parking, you'll be lucky.

We felt very comfortable with Christian and his family. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, we were more than adequately supplied with coffee and if something is missing, Christian is immediately on the spot. The whirlpool is a real hit, everything is lovingly furnished and clean. We will definitely be back.
