Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in South West England

A great place to stay. short walk to the centre. We were a group of four friends and we had everything we needed. All the amenities are there and the beds were comfortable. Ben is quick to respond and the instructions are very clear. Free parking is an added bonus as can be expensive in Cardiff.

Excellent host! Everywhere spotlessly clean and well maintained. Portable electric cooking rings in addition to kettle, toaster, microwave and air fryer. All cutlery, utensils, cups crockery and glasses that you’d need. Newly installed outdoor sink for washing dishes.

The cottage we stayed in was super clean and well-equipped. The grounds were large enough for our granddaughter to run about and play football. Sandra made us feel welcome, and the location was ideal for traveling around the Liskeard area. There are no local amenities, but the Morrisons at Liskeard is only a 5-minute drive away. We used this location as we have relatives in the area, and we will stay with Sandra the next time we travel to Cornwall.

This was a perfect place for a short stay, with wonderful views over the hills and a walk through beautiful meadows to nailsworth for lunch. The strawberries were a thoughtful touch and we loved the friendly welcome.

This flat was a great find ! Free parking spot right outside. The flat is right in the town centre but out of the way. It had a lovely privaye court yard with seating area with pretty lights ! It was quiet considering how close to the centre. Charlotte was very accommodating and responsive. I like to cook, and the kitchen was perfectly clean & had all the equipment and more 👩‍🍳 The bed was super comfy ! The TV was huge 😆 Great stay, will be back 🙌😊

One of the best places my wife and I have ever stayed on Airbnb. What a find! Immaculate, high quality fixtures and fittings - those staying are in for a fun surprise when using lavatory and bed lol :) The hot tub was the perfect temperature for relaxing (easy instructions). Location wise within easy walking distance of some nice places to eat plus the nearby train station - Bristol is then only 10mins away by rail and an interesting/picturesque place to explore (be aware the ticket purchasing machine at Heynsham isn't obvious but is on the other side of the platform). Once in Bristol, would recommend using Uber to nip up to Clifton (beautiful architecture inc. Suspension Bridge plus more fab places to eat). Our long weekend ended with an easy drive up to and walk around the lovely Westonburt Orboretum. Beautiful place and perfect location. Would be tricky for anyone with mobility issues due to number of steps, but it certainly gave our legs a work out.

My family and I had a wonderful stay for a wedding last weekend. The house is great place to relax and just a short walk from the beach. The garden is really secure for dogs and has a side gate with a hose to wash off the sand after fun at the beach. Nic and Rick sent loads of really helpful information before our stay and were flexible with timings for check in and out. They are so friendly, are very responsive to any questions and left some lovely personal touches for our arrival (scones and jam, eggs, bread and milk!). Thank you for a great stay. We had a lovely time and hope to be back soon!!

This property’s location is perfect, whether you want to stay on-site and enjoy the vistas of Dartmouth or use it as a base to thoroughly explore the environs. It’s only a short walk into Kingswear, where there is a car or foot ferry to get across to Dartmouth or the steam train which will take you to Paignton. Communication with Mark was thorough during every stage of the booking and stay. The accommodation is divine and we’ve rarely slept so well; a combination of the Savoir bed and serenity within this hillside property. Nothing about the host, property or location could be faulted; exemplary in every aspect.

We found a little gem in the cheese house, Tamsin was just great welcomed us and was just next door for any help we needed. The appartment was very relaxed location having very good kitchen, more utensils than we have at home so could prepare a naquet there if you so wished. Also a great relaxing area with plenty of sofa space along with a pool table. bedrooms and bathrooms very spacious and clan and tidy. overall a great experience had and a great find we will return for sure. thank you Tamsin for a lovely stay Paul&June

We stayed here for a family holiday, 4 adults and 6 children aged 11-15 and we all had a lovely time. There is lots to do at Mistletoe Farm; the pool and hot tub were great, the games room/ garden kitchen area was perfect for us to all get together to eat, play darts or do karaoke and the escape room was a big hit with the kids. We also enjoyed an evening around the fire pit toasting marshmallows. It’s set in beautiful surroundings and we enjoyed walks to the local pub for dinner and also to the reservoir. Lyme Regis was close enough for a day out too. The accommodation was clean and tidy and well equipped and the teenagers enjoyed having a glamping pod to themselves for a bit of independence. Paul and Sandra were excellent hosts, super friendly, welcoming and helpful, they leave you to enjoy your holiday but somehow always manage to be there when you need them! Highly recommend.

Great location as it’s close to the town, and there are some lovely walks down to the coast. Would recommend for a weekend away by the coast

Had an amazing stay at Birch Studio, it’s in a great location right next to the cove which is stunning. The facilities were great and I especially liked the dome window on the sauna. Would highly recommend!!

Tilly's place was a very elegant and comfortable place to stay. Great location for central Tetworth. Worth noting the stairs are very steep so not for any people who need disability friendly spots. Very atmospheric -- would be lovely with roaring fires going in the autumn and winter! A really lovely place! Thanks!

Charlotte was an excellent host who gave clear instructions and made the place feel very welcoming. The house was ideal for a weekend stay to enjoy some of Cardiff’s tourist sites and spend a day a Sophia Gardens to watch some Cricket. It was comfortable and spacious with and easy to use kitchen, clean bathroom and relaxing lounge. When returning to the area we would happily use this place again.

We had to book very last second. Nicole was very helpful, answered super quickly and had this beautiful Airbnb ready for us. We were greeted be personalized signs and an Airbnb with a great atmosphere. You can see the love in every detail. Everything is clean and cozy and besides the usual things they provided detailed recommendations for the area, a free yoga class Nicole gives and a lot of small things like coffee, cereal and jam. We definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone staying in the area.

Great, peaceful place to stay in Portsmouth. Close to bars and restaurants, and longer walking distance to other sites in town, including the best maritime museum we have been to anywhere in the world (and we have been to many all over the world). By far the most stocked kitchen we have experienced -- and we stay in many Airbnbs worldwide. The "provided breakfast" included anything you would want to eat and more, and we were there for a week and there was enough for the entire week! There was other food also which we supplemented from a grocery store because we cook most of our own meals (the reason we stay in Airbnbs). The outdoor area is amazing and we used it when weather permitted. The outdoor bathroom is only useable in nicer weather than we had, at least for us. The only drawback was that the loft is much smaller than it seems in the pictures; the ceiling is very low and you can't stand up (and we are very small people). It might be okay for some but not usable for us.

We had another fab stay here! Beautiful views; clean and tidy with everything you need; very easy access to beaches, town centre, bars and restaurants; safe parking underground. We also visited the Eden Project and St Ives. Lovely walks on the South West coastal path. Large decking with sunny spots during the afternoon/evening and pet friendly! We brought our own foldable bed as we had two teen boys and the sofa bed wasn’t suitable for both of them to share. Will definitely be back!

A lovely clean self contained annex with everything you need for a short stay including secure outside space. Nice extra touches including milk and dog treats. Great location for exploring. Perfect host.

Absolutely charming accommodation. Really spacious and well laid out. Felt like home away from home, could have stayed here for longer and will definitely look into coming back here. Lovely walk to the nearest pub for lunch, the mill is right on the river with Stunning views of the surrounding area. Nice garden area with views of the cows in the field. The hot water was extremely hot so be careful, but it was nice to always have plenty of hot water for washing and showering. Overall a lovely private place to stay.
