At Utstein there are animals on the farmland and cultural pasture all year round and limited access to traffic. It is possible to see/participate in the farm operations. There are many hiking opportunities, short distance to Preikestolen and Kjerag.

It takes 5-7 minutes to drive to Preikestolen basecamp, 5 minutes to the center of Jørpeland and 30 minutes to Stavanger city center.

There are also many other marked hiking trails in the immediate area such as Uburen, Hatten, Hesten, Skjerajuvet, etc. Beach, Forsand with shop, Landa ancient village just nearby.

The house is located about 15 min drive from Stavanger or Preikestolen. There are also several nice mountain trips in the nearby area. There is a nice outdoor area behind the house where sheep, goats and hens that lay fresh eggs graze. It is also nice to enjoy sunsets, barbecue or play for the children. Large parking space, quiet neighborhood and no view.

It is located in scenic surroundings with stunning panoramic views and a short way to the beach. You have to walk about 100m in terrain from the parking lot. ( Some may find it steep.) You also get access to the boathouse with a small living room and private beach. Motor boat and 2kajaks. The beautiful photos in the cabin are for sale.
