Holiday rentals with lake access in Steingaden

Very nice, clean and cozy place with enough space in a great environment. We felt very comfortable in the Astara vacation home.

We had a wonderful 6 days at the Fisherman’s House at the Ammersee. The house was so comfortable and welcoming, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bedrooms were cozy. All amenities were there and functioning well, including washer and dryer. Marco and the team of the Strandhotel were excellent hosts, always helpful and very friendly. Location is excellent in quiet neighborhood with short walk to the lake and is a great starting point for trips to the “Voralpenland” and to Munich. One of the best Airbnbs we have ever been to. Strongly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

The stay was super relaxed. The hosts very friendly and accommodating. We are happy to recommend it! Were mostly 4 in the accommodation, with 6 people it should be good and cozy. The sauna and the whirlpool rounded it all off perfectly 😊

Dear Christina, Even though we didn't meet in person, I say Thank you for letting me spend my 70th birthday with the family in this beautiful house. They were wonderful days and the weather also played along. So we could enjoy the lake property and conquer the lake. The house left nothing to be desired. It was a pleasure to cook and eat together. Cornelia was an excellent host. She met with us upon check in to explain all of the intricacies of the home, she was kind and so easy to work with. It was close to shops, bakeries, restaurants and grocery stores. We absolutely recommend her home and would stay here again!

The small cottage offers everything for a short break, super practical, also suitable for cooking meals. Quickly in Ulm, or other destinations in the area. We are very satisfied and can recommend the accommodation, thank you Roland

The apartment is in a great location - many great things hiking routes are nearby, restaurants are within walking distance. The apartment is well furnished, equipped with everything you need and with great views of the mountain.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful and cozy apartment. It is well equipped and lovingly decorated, in addition to the beautiful view from the balcony to Lake Tegernsee . Lake, shops and restaurants are reachable in a few minutes. On top still the parking space in the underground parking and extremely warm hosts. What more could you want? Super clean apartment. Very central location to get to know Ammersee. Shopping markets in the immediate vicinity. Wonderful view of the Ammersee. Beach and bar nearby, 2 minutes' walk. We were only in Bad Tölz for a short break with the dog and Irmgard's accommodation was great for that. Located directly on the Isar, so we could always go for a great walk. A comfortable balcony with sun in the afternoon/evening to end the day. All in all, we were very satisfied!

The place is really very nice and we had a great time. Large and welcoming house in a very large and well-kept green space. It was no problem to arrive late in the evening and leave in the morning at our leisure. Very kind and helpful host. Thank you for everything!

Had a wonderful stay! Gill was lovely and met us at the door to show us around and make sure we were settled in. Gave us a few recommendations and a layout of the area which was perfect. We had plans to sightsee in Munich and a few places around Munich so the location was great for that. 30 minutes outside Munchen old town and a short drive to Andechs Monastery and brewery and about 45 min to Neuschwanstein Castle. Worthsee lake is nice as were the other lakes in the area. The accommodations are spacious and well equipped for an old farmhouse. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this quiet peaceful spot and highly recommend Gill's place!
