Unser Haus mit 2 FWen befindet sich in ruhiger Lage am Fuße des Rauensteins, direkt am Malerweg. In ca. 600 m erreichen Sie Elberadweg, Fähranlegestelle, das Erlebnisbad und Gaststätten. Gute Ausgangsbasis für Wanderungen, Radtouren, ebenso für Besuche von Burgen und Schlössern sowie Sehenswürdigkeiten. In ca. 500 m befindet sich die S-Bahnstation "Stadt Wehlen".

We rent our simple, cozy hut in Thürmsdorf - in the heart of Saxon Switzerland (Elbe Sandstone Mountains) and in close proximity to fantastic climbing rocks, adventurous hiking trails and beautiful nature. If you are looking for peace, you will find it in the large, sunny garden with plenty of space to relax. Wi-Fi is also provided. For families with children there is a large trampoline and seasonal fruit in the garden to pick yourself.

City of Wehlen Markthaus - Vacation rental - Apartment

The Markthaus is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel in Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the castle ruin on the romantic Malerweg. The vaulted cellar and foundation walls date back to 1527. The main house was built in 1734 and operated as a rest stop, post office and inn. In 1850, a massive extension was built in the classicist style. Röhringer ran the Hotel Sächsische Schweiz here.

In the house there is a fireplace for the cool days and in the garden you can barbecue or simply enjoy the great starry sky at night. There are plenty of climbing and hiking opportunities in the area. Please note that there is no Wi-Fi in the cottage.
