The town of Wehlen is located in the Upper Elbe Valley in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The tranquil health resort looks back on almost 800 years of history. The market house is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel of Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

Unser Haus mit 2 FWen befindet sich in ruhiger Lage am Fuße des Rauensteins, direkt am Malerweg. In ca. 600 m erreichen Sie Elberadweg, Fähranlegestelle, das Erlebnisbad und Gaststätten. Gute Ausgangsbasis für Wanderungen, Radtouren, ebenso für Besuche von Burgen und Schlössern sowie Sehenswürdigkeiten. In ca. 500 m befindet sich die S-Bahnstation "Stadt Wehlen".

Natur pur erlebt ihr bei unserer Unterkunft inmitten der Felsenwelt der Sächsischen Schweiz. Der Wagen steht auf einer Wiese, dahinter stehen die Schafe & Hühner auf der Wiese, direkt dahinter geht der Wald und die Wanderwege zu den Felsen los. Achtung: Bettbezüge , -laken & Handtücher bitte selbst mirbringen. Der Wagen steht auf dem Gelände unserer Herberge, wo auch Gästegruppen übernachten, also keine Alleinlage! Im Winter ist es super ruhig, Natur pur & richtig gemütlich mit Kaminofen.

If you are looking for peace, you will find it in the large, sunny garden with plenty of space to relax. Wi-Fi is also provided. For families with children there is a large trampoline and seasonal fruit in the garden to pick yourself.
