Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Styrsö

Christopher and Elon are really nice hosts, they were very quick and responsive with our questions! The house also comes with a lot of good amenities, definitely recommended!

Emelie went over and above my expectations to ensure we had all we needed (particularly for our grandson). The house was exactly as we imagined, a well loved, comfortable and homely place with all we needed for our short stay. She was responsive to even the silliest questions and kept in touch throughout checking that we were ok and if we needed any further support from her. Very pleased with the whole experience and will certainly be our first port of call when we return to Gothenburg.

We stayed at Patrik’s wood cabin for a long weekend stay. It had everything we needed and the bed was exceedingly comfy. Everything was well set up and clean, along with some really lovely homemade biscuits and Lingonberry jam! The surrounding area itself is beautiful and peaceful, with a really nice garden space and fire pit area. There is also on site parking. But most importantly, Patrik was a very welcoming and accommodating host; we’d had issues with our flight there and Patrik was exceedingly flexible and generous. The area is also perfect for walking, with easy access to the nearby forests and lakes. Thanks to our visit we have fallen in love with Sweden and look forward to visiting again!

Niclas was great as was the house , clean and well stocked . It was odd that plenty of personal belongings were there but helpful to use things such as coffee or condiments. It was a very nice neighborhood with lots of walking areas and a grocery store 5 minutes walk away, helpful. It was however a bit inconvenient getting into goteborg . We had a rental car so it was perfect but without one it might have taken 45-60 mins on one bus every 30mins, a 15 min ride followed by a 15 min tram . Given we had a car overall it was fantastic with lots of space to relax.

Great place and great host! The kids loved the playground and trampoline and we loved all the space and tranquility. The house is very modern and very comfortable. Would absolutely love to stay again in the future.

The house is in a quiet location, shops are nearby, restaurants a little further away. A bike is handy to have on hand. When you go in Gothenborg by car, it is wise to have the municipality app for parking spaces available. We visited Gothenborg city center a few times in five days, visited the islands off the coast and took a walk outside the center in a natural park. Furthermore, Rasmus and Veronika are easily accessible and respond quickly to questions. In the house, all amenities are available for a pleasant stay.

We had an amazing stay at this beautifully decorated home—perfect for our group of eight! The house had a warm, cosy atmosphere and came with all the essentials we needed. It’s set in a lovely neighbourhood that felt both safe and peaceful. The bag of chips and äppelmust waiting for us on arrival were such thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly welcome. On top of that, Lukasz was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Our stay on Tjörn was great! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Laban, who personally showed us the accommodation and was always available for questions. The accommodation itself was very well equipped, we lacked nothing. We liked the spacious and beautiful garden. Even if the accommodation can only be reached by car, it is ideally located to reach all parts of the island in a few minutes. Thanks a lot!

We had a really lovely 5 days at Sofia’s place. Sofia and Malcolm were incredibly friendly and welcoming and had lots of ideas and tips of where we should go and what we should see. We were made to feel right at home and our children were encouraged to use the garden and trampoline etc, while we were also encouraged to pick the plums and other produce from the garden. The flat is really centrally located on Tjörn, meaning that everything we wanted to do was an easy drive away. We loved exploring the coastline and the island and really enjoyed the flat which suited our family of four really well. Thank you Sofia and Malcolm for a really lovely stay.

Markus and Esther is extremely friendly, greeted us when we got to their place. Their place is lovely and clean and right next to the woods with a lake, great for walking.

Fantastic holiday accommodation, beautifully and comfortably furnished, with a great terrace and lake view. The kitchen offers everything you could need. Nice and attentive hosts in a simply great environment. Rarely seen such a clean accommodation, keep it up!

Do not pass up this amazing Airbnb!! Martin and Anna were excellent hosts, with everything from stellar communication to a very well appointed, clean, and thoughtful apartment! The bed had soft, plush linens and crisp white robes were an added amenity provided. The bathroom shower had fantastic water pressure and plenty of towels. The kitchen had high end appliances which made cooking and coffee each morning delightful. Martin even brought us half a loaf of his freshly made sourdough bread. So kind! It is obvious they have taken the time to thoughtfully furnish the space and the location is unbeatable—just steps from the water!! I cannot give enough praises for this Airbnb—do yourself a favor and book this one!!!

Peggy and Pär were truly wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to help me settle in, offering great local recommendations and assisting with plans to make my stay memorable. They were incredibly responsive and always happy to help. Their property has so much to enjoy—kayaks, a bbq grill, and a shared sauna were all available and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The cabin itself was just as described in the photos: clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location is also very convenient—just 2.5 km from the nearest train station, one stop from the charming town of Alingsås, and about 30 minutes by train or car from Gothenburg. Highly recommended! I would absolutely love to come back.

We had some wonderful days in the little cottage! Anders is an attentive host who welcomed us and gave us tips for hiking in the area. We enjoyed the well-equipped cottage, the lovely terrace and not least the pool. The area is beautiful and with plenty of opportunities for hiking or to take a trip to Gothenburg, which is a half hour drive away. Highly recommended - we will be happy to come back!

Karolina and Alf are excellent hosts - open, friendly and very helpful. They gave us great tips for excursions in the area. We were only there for a short time, but had a great day on an island and enjoyed the rest of the time in the cozy accommodation. The apartment is very lovingly and very cheerfully and practically furnished. In the morning and evening, the deer came to the house - in short, a perfect place for those who want to get to know Sweden at its best.

We really enjoyed our 2-week family vacation at Nickla's cottage. For us, the house and location were fantastic. From the terrace we could see the sea, walk directly from the house into the forest or to the dock and our son was very happy about the trampoline and the large garden. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen perfectly equipped with everything as described by Nicklas. We grilled more often and enjoyed the peace and nature. The house is also perfectly located for exploring Tjörn. We hardly had to drive more than 15 minutes to the best bakery / cafe, swimming spots, and hikes. It is also only an hour to Gothenburg by car or bus. Bicycles are also available, but that was too hilly for us with the 3-year-old. For sports, it is also ideal for exploring the area. Thanks Nicklas for the hospitality and good communication!

I have slept in many Aitbnbs in Sweden and this was the best I have experienced so far. Lena and Erik are the most amazing people. incredibly helpful and friendly. the home was one of the most idyllic I have experienced and everything was absolutely top notch. I would highly recommend this property and these wonderful hosts. a unique experience. Thank you!
