Wij verbleven een week in het aappartement van Daniël. Het is een huis met een volstrekt persoonlijke uitstraling waardoor wij ons meteen volledig thuis voelden. De kamers zijn smaakvol ingericht met een combinatie van kunst en vintage, en er is een complete bibliotheek van boeken en CD's die de zeer brede interesse van de gastheer benadrukken. Het appartement zelf is schoon, warm, vol licht en biedt een waanzinnig mooi uitzicht op de skyline van Reykjavik. Als je geluk hebt is er zicht op het noorderlicht vanaf het balkon. Wij hebben heerlijk geslapen op het prima bed. Het appartement bevindt zicht op 10 minuten rijden van het centrum in een rustige buurt. De zee zit op 5 minuten lopen en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de kustlijn en de oceaan. Daniel zelf is een enthousiaste gastheer die zijn best doet om je thuis te laten voelen. Hij gaf een volledige rondleiding door het huis en vervolgde met aanbevelingen waar je het beste heen kon gaan in de buurt. Zeer tevreden :)

De perfecte afsluiting van onze reis door IJsland. De Ocean View Suite in Keflavík bood ons rust, comfort en een prachtig uitzicht op zee – precies wat we nodig hadden na een periode vol indrukken. De ruimte is groots en met veel zorg ingericht, een fijne mix van stijl en huiselijkheid. De ligging vlak bij de luchthaven is ideaal, zonder dat je last hebt van drukte. We hoorden af en toe wat geluiden van boven, maar verder was het heerlijk rustig. Een unieke, sfeervolle plek die onze laatste avond in IJsland bijzonder maakte.

Sesselja is a wonderful host, very friendly and responsive. Her place has great amenities, and it’s very comfortable and clean. Walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Free parking outside. We highly recommend this place. Thank you Sesselja!

The place was perfect for our needs. Clean, easy to get to the main part of Reykjavik in about 15 minutes of walking, had a nice kitchen and comfy beds. Such a lovely garden to look out on as well. Definitely recommend.

Andri was a great host and the apartment is in such a perfect location, in walking distance to anything worth doing within Reykjavik. We arrived early in the morning and he very kindly allowed us to check in early. The instructions for getting in and accessing the parking garage were very easy to follow as well The apartment itself was the perfect accomodation for our week stay in the city as well. Super clean and the location was ideal!

We had a great visit, and we loved this Airbnb! It was conveniently located, and it had plenty of space for our family of five! We would most definitely stay here again!

Had a quick 2 night stay and this was a perfect location. Minutes from the airport, restaurants and grocery. House had thoughtful items that made the trip easier (lots of charging converters, gaming for the kids, etc). Great stay.

Cute apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood about 3 kilometers from the touristy part of Reykjavik. Clean, quiet, very homey and comfortable. Reynir was super responsive. Great place to end our vacation.

C'est très bien comme condo, mais en réalité, il s'agit d'une chambre dans un condo avec deux personnes qui y vivent. Bien situé et bien fourni, près du centre-ville de Reykjavik. Avoir été seuls, nous aurions été ravis de ce beau condo. Autre point, les planchers craquent et quiconque se lève au milieu de la nuit risque de réveiller les autres. Si demeurer chez quelqu'un ne vous fait pas peur, c'est idéal pour visiter Reykjavik.

Had an amazing time staying Pétur’s place. Plenty of space for my group of 6 adults. Location was great, right by a domestic airport that didnt seem to be used much because I never heard a plane take off or land. Location is great, within 5-7 mins driving to the downtown area. You definitely need a car but Id say that for all of Reykjavic in general. Plenty of parking, we had 2 cars. The bathroom upstairs has heated floors, which was great during the winter. For NYE it was perfect because we could see fireworks from all of the town and we got really lucky and saw the Northern Lights very clearly from his place, probably not common, but it was amazing! Magical trip, will def stay there again.

This place was perfect! 4 adult and 4 kids. It was absolutely beautiful home and the owners were so responsive and helpful. The house is walking distance to food markets and some restaurants and only 20 min drive from downtown Reykjavik. Walking trails all along the area. We could not have picked a better place to stay for our visit to Iceland, highly recommend this place!

What a great find! The place was perfect and the rooms were spacious, warm and comfortable. The kids loved the hot tub and I loved the books! I read a Steinbeck book which I greatly appreciated. The kitchen was beautiful as was the sunroom. I imagine the sunroom would be the perfect room to see the Northern Lights. The neighborhood was peaceful and we even got to spend a little time with one of the neighbors who was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very spacious, clean & nicely designed. If you are looking for horseback riding our kids LOVED “Riding Tours South Iceland.” Our stay was absolutely wonderful. I would love to return there someday.

Ursula’s home is just absolutely wonderful! We traveled from Texas and found another home away from home in Iceland! We found the home spacious and beautifully decorated with a modern flair. The washer/dryer, gym, and kitchen were utilized to the max! We were also welcomed with milk, bread, cheese, butter and cookies when we first arrived! We loved the ability to walk to the beautiful beach and enjoy nature at its finest. All of the neighbors were very quiet and friendly. Very impressed and thankful!

Incredible property. Out of this world view and easy place to detach and find a peaceful stay. We were here for 3 days. Our family, including 2 kids loved it. Can’t stress the views or peaceful surroundings enough. Perfect for a quiet getaway but also close to the roads needed to explore that part of Iceland. 10/10 stay. Highly recommend the breakfast baskets as some extra food for the house.

The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. Check-in was easy, and the location was simple to find. The views were stunning, and enjoying coffee on the deck each morning was a highlight. The drive to Reykjavik and nearby attractions was very manageable (about 30 minutes for most places we visited). One helpful tip: consider where you'll spend most of your time. We explored the southern coast mostly and didn’t fully realize how tiring longer drives would feel after full days out. This is by no means a downside to the house or its location—both were wonderful! It’s simply a helpful tip for others planning their itinerary: take travel times into consideration based on your daily plans. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and truly appreciated the comfort and beauty of this home and our host was great!

This house was perfect. The hostesses met us when we arrived, gave us instructions on things they wanted us to make sure we knew (for safety and such due to the temperatures), and spent around 2 hours giving us a tour and history of the house. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed and they were so thoughtful with all of their recommendations for activities with our children. We 100% recommend this house to others and we will be coming back in the future!
