Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Unique new wooden house in wonderful nature

Blåbjerghus is a brand new well insulated wooden house. It is simple and beautifully decorated and there is just about everything you need. The nature around is simply wonderful. You can hike, run and bike straight into the woods. From the house there is a fantastic view, where you can see Roskilde Cathedral in the distance, and a few meters from the house there is a view of Roskilde Fjord. Close by is Jægerspris Castle and there is a beautiful little beach with a jetty. A peaceful place to stay

Relaxed area with sea on three sides, near nature, small town with restaurants, cafes, harbor, ferries and trains to Frederiksværk, Hillerød and Copenhagen. Near Lynæs, which is the second port area with a surfing center. The home is located on a closed road in a separate house and has a large room, a small kitchen with dining table, hallway and a toilet with shower. The appartement has a two floors with a stair between them. The living room is upstairs.
