Here you can stay in peace even with a larger group. The ski trails start just a few hundred meters away. Ylläs and Rovaniemi are about 100 km away. The nearest store is just over 6 km away. Villa Väylän Helmi is located in the municipality of Ylitornio, in Marjosaari, Kaulinranta village. The island is a peaceful rural setting, with mostly holiday homes. Located along the Tornionjoki River, the cottage is the choice of fishermen and holidaymakers who love the river landscape. Marjosaari is a great place to watch and photograph the Northern Lights. There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa bridge.

The main building has a kitchen, dining area and living room. Separate toilet with washing machine and dryer, as well as an electric sauna and shower room with toilet seat. Two bedrooms (both with double beds), a loft with a sofa bed (120x200) and, if necessary, 2 extra beds. In addition, the main building has an access from the outside to the additional room upstairs, with two beds as well as armchairs and a small fridge for two. Set on 2.7 ha of private land with direct access to Lake Miekojärvi, it’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and feel again. We are Joakim from Sweden and Jenny from Germany. We fell in love with the stillness and beauty of Arctic Finland, and we’re excited to share our cottage, and a little piece of that magic, with guests from around the world.

Veden äärellä sijaitseva mökki, jossa kesästä voi nauttia monin eri tavoin. Kaksikerroksinen hirsimökki sijaitsee Lankojärven rannalla. Mökissä on viihtyisä tupa, takka ja hyvin varusteltu keittiö nurkkaus. Yläkerrassa vuoteet ja upeat näköalat. Vieraamme ovat nauttineet puulämmitteisestä saunasta ja uimisesta, suppailusta ja järvellä veneellä soutelusta. Rannassa myös oma laavu, jossa voit illalla tulistella ja ihailla upeaa aurigonlaskua ja valmistaa vaikkapa i ruokaa.

Night at the Bearhillhusky kennel! Heat the sauna, swim in the lake and relax in the hot tub! The traditional wood heated sauna offers you a gentle experience into the finnish sauna culture. The cabin has a rowing boat, coal grill and an outdoor eco toilet to crown the traditional wilderness cabin feeling. The double bed and outdoor jaquzzi bring the luxorious feel to the place, and the private shore with a pier where you can sit and enjoy the calm nature around you.

Majoitu ainutlaatuisessa ympäristössä alpakkatilan yhteydessä pienessä lappilaisessa kylässä. Viihtyisä pieni mobiili mökki, tai oikeastaan minikoti (tiny cabin on wheels) sijaitsee järven rannalla kukkuloiden keskellä noin tunnin ajomatkan päässä Rovaniemeltä.
