Landscape Architect's Chalet Soapstone Wood Stove

In 2004 I got the chance to design my own family's week-end house in the village Pigniu. This fabulous place at 1300 meters above sea in the Surselva Region of Graubünden province, above the Town Ilanz, was well-known to me, for my parents owned an old farmhouse until the 1980ies here. The Spiral shaped chalet has the form of a band, changing from concrete in the base to wooden shingles upwards. The house is designed to connect us to the landscape we love. You will heat with chopped wood.

The Walensee/Sarganserland vacation region offers countless opportunities to be active, but also for rest and relaxation.

Zurich is only a 35 min train ride away - every 15 min throughout the day and until late. The apartment has stylish furnishings, a large cozy double bed, a bathroom and kitchenette. The apartment has been completely renovated with a lot of passion and newly furnished in the cozy alpine chic. Located in the holiday residence Quadra right in the centre of Flims. Bus stop is just 1 minute walk from the apartment. It takes about a 5-minute walk to the cable cars and the various shops. From the balcony you can enjoy a magnificent view of Flims and the surrounding mountain panorama. Ideal place to relax!

Very nice large two bedroom apartment. Lovely location for skiing in winter or swimming in the lake in summer. The apartment is 5 minutes walk from the ski lift. The apartment has beautiful views of the lake, harbor and mountains. All in all, a unique place in the park and in Switzerland! Linen and towels are included! Cot and chair are provided.
