The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. Time out in the tiny house in the heart of Upper Swabia. The location of our two igloo tiny houses could not be more beautiful: in the middle of Upper Swabia directly in an orchard with extra sauna and horses! Because it's more relaxed for everyone, we've packed a lot into our inclusive price. Also parking, sauna, free WiFi. This is how it has to be a vacation. The hot pot can be used for a fee of €30. Please let us know in advance so that everything can be prepared.

Farmhouse room with lovely charm

In our restored farmhouse we rent a cozy, wheelchair-accessible attic apartment with elevator, spread over 2 floors. The upper bedroom can be reached via a wooden staircase (not wheelchair accessible). My accommodation is in the middle of the village in the countryside, but very close to the nearest cities of Frauenfeld and Winterthur. The bus stop is 100m from the Airbnb. It's ideal for couples, adventurers traveling alone, business trips and families (with children).

Idyllic lakeside

Our cozy, large, bright apartment is ideal for 1 - 3 guests who want a relaxing break. It is also a great starting point for excursions to the beautiful surroundings and interesting destinations. Even in autumn and winter! It's only a few minutes down the mountain to the lake. Here you can transfer to Meersburg by ferry - and the island of Mainau is also not far away. A beautiful long waterfront path or the free, direct bus (approx. 20 min.) leads to the old town.

Our accommodation is a large, well-equipped attic apartment. In addition to a cozy bedroom, there is a living and dining room with a sofa bed for 2 people, a reading corner, a modern bathroom and a kitchen. From the bedroom you have a great view of Altshausen Castle. The location is central (various shops, bakeries and restaurants within a 5-minute walk) yet quiet area. The garden can also be used. A beautiful swimming lake is within 10 minutes' walking distance.

In our two construction trailers converted with attention to detail, we offer you a vacation opportunity where you can concentrate on the essentials and beauty again. Slowing down, relaxation and recreation are our top priorities at our small horse farm. Our farm is located in a dead zone and thus we also offer all sensitive people a low-radiation vacation. Country life, campfires and the surroundings also offer countless opportunities for adventure.

Our apartment impresses with its wonderful location not far from the lake. It is high quality and comfortably furnished, quietly located overlooking the beautiful garden. In just 5 minutes, you can walk to the lake and go swimming directly in the lido. It is also close to the beautiful old town of Überlingen. It is about 20 minutes on foot. A bus runs at your doorstep. Parking is free on the quiet residential street.

The apartment has been newly built in an old farmhouse (anno 1833). During construction, care was taken to use as many natural building materials as possible (wood, clay, hemp). The partitions were designed as half-timbered walls. The living room forms a room with the kitchen. The apartment is about 60 m² and is barrier-free.
