If any concerns or issues arise, we are nearby and able to respond quickly. You can arrive at the sand or pull up to the Legoland gate in 10 minutes! Great location with the grocery store, post office, luxury movie theater, and several eateries across the street. If it's golfing you're looking for, several award-winning courses surrounding and your own putting green right in your backyard! Not to mention all the trails, parks, and attractions San Diego has to offer. A car is recommended, but not required in Carlsbad. There is plenty of public transportation to get around (bus, train, or Uber). If you do have a vehicle, we have plenty of parking! Enough driveway space for 4 vehicles. The Tropical Treehouse of Love Private Guest Suite

Separate gated entrance to the private guest suite which occupies the lower level of the home named the Treehouse of Love (no shared spaces). Enjoy the backyard to yourself! Comfortable queen bed, cozy sofa, 65" TV, fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, full bath with beautiful shower, and multiple patio sets to enjoy the lush tropical backyard and sunshine. Outdoor surf shower and a hammock to relax in. Close/walking distance to the ocean, park, and great local restaurants/bars.

Hilltop Lodge off-grid cabin

Selected 2nd best glamping site in the United States by Hipcamp 2023. One of the last remaining undeveloped parts of Southern California, De Luz Heights is located adjacent to the Cleveland National Forest, and the Santa Margarita River (just a few miles from the campsite). On my 80 acres, there are no public roads going through or next to the property.  My land is 13 miles from the Pacific ocean and enjoys a relatively mild yearly climate, and features giant boulders and native wildlife.
