You would live in the small village called “Meigen”. It is very close to the city centre of Solingen. The drive to the city centre is about 5 min. with the car and 10 with the bus. You can park your car almost in front of the apartment. The train station „SG-Mitte“ is also very close. By foot you will need around 20 minutes, with the car only 5 minutes. If you want to ride to Düsseldorf or Cologne you can easily take the train (30-40 min.) or your car (same time), perfect for fairgoers.

The accommodation is very nicely furnished, you have everything you need. The bathroom is very new and modern. We especially liked our own terrace in the beautiful weather! 😊 The accommodation is listed and designed for two people, but we were allowed to arrive with a baby and the hosts created an extra sleeping option. Great place in a beautiful, quiet and charming location. The Bergisches Land is a great vacation spot for a long weekend and We felt right at home at Alexandra‘s place. She and her family were very welcoming, didn’t hesitate to help, checked-in regularly and overall were great hosts. Her place was clean and well-equipped so we could cook and prepare some meals while exploring the region and trying out local specialties for others. Thank you Alexandra and Jonas for hosting us!
