We have two ensuite bedrooms set in the converted former West Church at Latheron on the NC500 route. Two guests per room. Each room is furnished to a high standard and the setting has a full operating licence as required by Highland Council. Tea making facilities and in room basket breakfast provided. Outlook from the building is to the North Sea and central location allows for opportunity to explore the locality taking in some of the places of interest as well as accessing many local eateries

The king bedroom is on the ground floor with views of Thurso Bay and Dunnet Head. Within the room are fitted wardrobes, charging points and tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. A continental breakfast is served in the room. Our home is situated above Scrabster harbour, it is a 15-20 minute walk to catch the Orkney ferry. Alternatively it is a great place to stay if you're working in the area or exploring Caithness. If you're passing through on the NC500 this is ideal as a stopping point

Ashcroft is situated in the fishing village of Brora on the A9 and NC500 route .Brora offers a Golf course, fishing, walking, cycling and horse riding and boasts fabulous beaches and a beautiful loch both .excellent places for bird watching.. There are several places in the village to eat a pub, a hotel, Indian and Chinese take away and a well stocked Co op. Dunrobin Castle is only 5 miles away and well worth a visit.
