The town of Wehlen is located in the Upper Elbe Valley in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The tranquil health resort looks back on almost 800 years of history. The market house is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel of Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

A ground floor apartment with a special relaxing effect. The apartment, which is over 50 m², offers everything you need to switch off for a few days/weeks. The fireplace in the living room contributes to the cozy atmosphere in the evening. As a small special feature, our alpine hut is located directly in the garden of our property. Nearby there are many good viewing platforms from which you can see a wonderful view over parts of the Osterz Mountains.

Beautiful new apartment in the countryside. Large private terrace with seating and barbecue facilities. The accommodation is next to a riding courtyard, in the neighboring village there is a large outdoor swimming pool and in 20 minutes you are in Saxon Switzerland or in beautiful Dresden. Public transport, such as train and bus, are within walking distance and take you directly to the old, Baroque city center of Dresden with its historical sights, but also to Saxon Switzerland, Moritzburg or one of the many other highlights in the area. Close to shops, restaurants and doctors.

Summer in our vacation apartment in the Erzgebirge

Up to 4 people can enjoy their relaxing vacation in the apartment. It is about 32 square meters and includes a living/sleeping room equipped with underfloor heating, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a small kitchen and another bedroom (also ideal for one to two children). A delicious breakfast can be served for an extra charge of €12.00 per person.
