Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Altenberg

This was a beautiful and relaxing place to kick back for 4 days. That said, we did drive to cities (eg dresden Germany) but loved being in a quiet country estate. Convenient, all the amenities, coffee pods, etc.

A great little spot, harmoniously furnished, you can feel really comfortable. You have to be in good shape to climb up, but the freight elevator makes it easier to carry your luggage. We were able to spend beautiful evenings and would be happy to come back.

Lovely stay right near to Bastei area. We went on a lot of great hikes. The stay was dog friendly (with a fee). The apartment was comfortable for a few days with everything we needed.

We had 2 wonderful weeks! From the house you could reach many great hiking destinations within a short time, the absolutely worthwhile hikes to the Lilienstein and the Brand even on foot (including a large "off-road" dog!). We felt very comfortable in the house after long, fulfilling hikes, although our dog (who is absolutely "stair-hiking-friendly") avoided the stairs down to the kitchen. You should know that the bathroom and kitchen are on the lower floor and the living room/bedroom are on the upper floor. We didn't miss anything, so we can only recommend the accommodation and this fairytale spot on earth!

Renovated cottage in a very quiet place, with a beautiful view of Wolf Mountain. Self check-in, there is a lockbox. A parking space, available on a dirt road, is located in a hill above the cottage, can be found without any problems according to the instructions sent. Upstairs is a spacious bedroom, accessible by stairs with no handrails, linens were provided. The bed has an amazing view of the surrounding landscape from the big window. The bathroom with a shower has underfloor heating, towels, hair dryer, and soap. The kitchen has basic amenities, a pod coffee maker (provided), a French press, an electric kettle, a toaster, there is no oven. The communication with the hosts was great, a nice gift was waiting for us when we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay with our dog. I recommend.

We had a fantastic time in Janov! The house was perfect for our group of 7 people – very clean, cozy and well equipped. Everyone felt completely comfortable. The location is fantastic and ideal for excursions into nature. Absolutely recommended – we will be happy to come back!

We were more than satisfied with the accommodation and its outdoor area overlooking the Königstein fortress. It was relaxing to have breakfast in the garden every morning or to grill in the evening and let the fire bowl burn alongside. So I can only recommend the accommodation due to the good location and the pleasant well-being.

A really very nice apartment in a beautiful and quiet location. We felt very comfortable and would book the accommodation again at any time.

We, my friend, my mother and our dog, were guests at Carola's - and what can we say: it was just perfect! The AirB&B is by far the best we've ever been to. Everything was super clean, lovingly decorated and thought out down to the smallest detail. You can immediately see how much passion Carola puts into her accommodation. The location is great, quiet and yet well connected. Carola was warm, helpful and always available from the beginning if you had any questions. Our dog also felt totally comfortable - a real temporary home for the whole family. Thank you very much, Carola! We will definitely come back. 💛

We were with a child and seven adults in the treasure chest and had a wonderful stay. We felt right at home, grilled in the garden and used the pool, explored Marienberg and made a detour to the Kühnau Heath and the Schwarzwassertal to the Teufelsmauer and the Katzenstein. There are very well-developed hiking trails in a beautiful landscape. We will definitely be back. The place itself exceeded our expectations. The beds were wonderfully comfortable and there were delicious fresh eggs. Shopping facilities were in walking distance. The only thing that may be considered problematic is the fact that there are only two toilets and one shower. But if you coordinate well and there are early risers, then it works. Jenny made it possible for us to book 2 nights at very short notice (about 2 hours before check-in!) when we were in need due to an overbooking! 🙏 The house was beautiful, spacious and clean, and offered the possibility for many activities (including a large TV in a cozy living room, dartboard, table football). We had a great stay thank you so much!

Felt like a fairytale, recommend! Great vibe, atmosphere, everything felt just right… We stayed for one night in 5 people and it was not a lot of space, we left our bags in the car but it was not an issue, but for bigger groups - keep that in mind:) Nevertheless , we wouldn’t change it for anything else! Such an amazing stay in quiet place! we loved it ❤️

Too bad you can't give more than 10 points! The apartment is perfectly furnished - beautiful, modern, spacious and cozy. There was everything you need. The views from the Erzalm are amazing. My sister and I were guests at Sabine's with 3 children. The apartment really deserves the name "Waldidylle" (forest idyll). We felt very comfortable from the beginning, enjoyed the tranquility and the sunsets very much. In the evening, we were able to make a fire. There are beautiful paths through the forest, along the stream, right outside the door. The children loved playing by the stream, wandered through the village, marveled at cows in the pasture, and fetched fresh eggs from the neighbor, who, incidentally, makes great carvings. In Großrückerswalde, we were able to walk alpacas, which was a great tip from Sabine! Thank you for the beautiful place and the hospitality, Sabine!

We were received in a very friendly and uncomplicated manner by Thomas and his wife. The neighborhood is great, has plenty of space for children. For our large (10 years), the sleeping place in the pointed floor with its own door was of course welcome. We adults particularly enjoyed, among other things, that the key could get stuck at the neighborhood (we couldn't lose it) and you could get in comfortably and without stalls at any time via the code. It was also great for the kids that there was a locomotive on the day of departure. Thank you! We will be happy to come back!

We had a fabulous stay at the Kraxlerhof in Ostrau! Beautiful setting and garden, with secure off road parking. Lots to do in the area. A lot of great hiking trails directly from the village. One leads to the epic Schrammstein rock formation and another down to Bad Schandau (20 min walk), but there are many more. Bike hire in the village. The accommodation was brilliant. Not only was the apartment really well equipped, it also seemed brand new. We had a very friendly welcome on site by Frank’s family who immediately made us feel at home. They were very helpful and gave some very useful local recommendations. The area is outstandingly beautiful and we had a very relaxing stay. Would highly recommend!

The apartment is located in an exceptionally quiet location overlooking the Elbe. It is attractively furnished and flooded with light. There is also a small terrace where we had breakfast every morning and watched the passing ships. You can quickly reach the Blue Wonder or the old town by bike. We felt very comfortable in the same time and would be happy to come back.

The stay was very nice in comfortable conditions, we were too short to visit, maybe let's go back to finish. The only thing I was missing were small neighborhood shops where you can buy fresh bread for breakfast all you have to go to big markets in Poland, there are a lot of them,but it's probably a matter of getting used to the locals.

We enjoyed it very much. The apartment's furnishings are really very high-end and very spacious and tasteful. Above all, the kitchen was great and it was really fun to cook there. Most apartments don't have good knives, so I got used to bringing my own - that wouldn't have been necessary here, because they were so good. Thank you again.

Marie's accommodation is great to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is quiet, idyllic and private, yet there are opportunities for activities in the area. The accommodation looks like the photos and is totally cozy. Contact with Marie is very straightforward and she responds quickly. :)

We were at Peggy and Marco's for a little weekend trip. The whole family has been very nice to us and we felt very comfortable on the farm! The accommodation is beautiful and very well maintained, perfect for relaxing. Our highlight was the alpaca hike on the last day. Peggy answered all our questions and we had a very fun 2 hours with her. Thank you for the great weekend. We will be happy to come back!
