The Garden apartment in historic Milford offers a cosy, self-contained retreat in a Grade II stone cottage, built c.1795, with a private garden and scenic views of the World Heritage mill village. The old mill is currently being developed. The area is easily explored with walks, pubs & restaurants from your doorstep. Stone Rise Cottage, Belper

Stone Rise Cottage was built in 1874 and has been renovated to its characterful feel today. Entering through the stable-front door, is a traditional kitchen with all the necessities. Beyond this is the lounge with log burner, beams and doors to the stone terrace. There’s also a quaint dining room for evening meals. Upstairs is a modern, renovated bathroom with bath and traditional shower. There are two double bedrooms, both with an elegant feel and a double wardrobe in the second.
