Holiday rentals with lake access in Anchorage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The lake provided a lot of entertainment for us when we were just hanging out at the house. We used the 2 kayaks and canoe quite a bit to fish or just paddle around the lake. The swans were out a few times too. We also enjoyed making s’mores in the really nice fire pit (bring your own s’mores ingredients & firewood). The kitchen was well stocked for cooking with lots of appliances provided. Beds were very comfy! 2 bedrooms had an amazing view of the lake (master and one queen), while the other 2 rooms had televisions. The master bathroom was very spacious and had dual shower heads. Make sure to follow the directions Daniel provides when checking in because Google Maps does not have an accurate location for the house, but we found out that Apple Maps worked great. Location was good, only 10 minutes from stores and restaurants, but felt very secluded and peaceful. Would absolutely stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Alaska!

This house was stunning— inside and out. What a great view for Alaska! The space had a modern aesthetic—clean lines, comfortable furniture, and thoughtful touches throughout. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed (plus a few extras). Check-in was smooth, and the host was friendly and responsive. If you're looking for a place with an incredible view, clean and modern vibes, and a peaceful atmosphere, this is it. I’d absolutely stay here again.

There aren’t adequate words to say for Troy’s place! It is amazingly beautiful and relaxing. He has done an excellent job of decorating and proving necessities for a stay. The beds were very comfortable. Be easy with the heat… it feels amazing on my feet (floor heated) but it will warm up very well… cools off slowly. I just wished I had planned on staying longer. Definitely #1 on our list.

We truly felt like we hit the jackpot finding Ryan’s incredible cabin on the lake! Ryan was exceptionally responsive to all of my questions and offered great tips on things to do in the area. The cabin itself was cozy, well-equipped, and made for an unforgettable stay. We would highly recommend Ryan’s place to anyone visiting Alaska. Plus, it’s conveniently located—just about 40 minutes from Anchorage! Ryan also left us a bottle of wine, eggs, yummy fresh alaskan coffee, and the most amazing homemade blueberry bread! Again, we can't say enough great things about Ryan and hus amazing cabin on the lake!!!!

Before even checking in Marty had great communications making us feel very comfortable. In fact after traveling by train for 12 hours he even picked us up at the train station and brought us to the airport to get our rental car. Marty was very kind and shared information about the area with us. In all the years of traveling I have never felt as welcomed as we were. Upon arrival the decor was adorned with beautiful Christian motif. The accommodations were perfect as we had another couple staying with us providing ample room for all of us. The fridge was stocked with muffins, coffee, bagels, yogurt and milk as well as cereal. They provided detergent and dryer sheets for laundry. Great experience 10 out 10!

This was a wonderful place to stay while we visited Anchorage. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was in an extremely convenient location. It was quiet, and there was a very pretty view of a small lake in the back of the house. Highly recommend this Airbnb!

Great place! Beautiful surroundings. Easy drive to pretty much anywhere as we drove to Anchorage, Seward and Willow as well as locally to Wasilla and Palmer. Super clean including furniture, carpet and rugs. Comfortable beds. We look forward to staying again! Thanks for sharing this amazing place!

I really enjoyed Jia’s Airbnb. Quiet, clean, seem to have extra stuff in the kitchen which was helpful.

It far exceeded our expectations! The home is BEAUTIFUL, and very large! Gorgeously decorated ! Two floors, tons of space for multiple people. Cute little extras like toys and things to do for kids , kcups and a keurig, little toothpastes in the bathrooms and the best smelling toiletries ! The location is perfect! Just a short 1 minute drive from Parks Hwy and all of the stores and restaurants. Yet peaceful and beautiful on a lake with playground and private dock. We saw beavers swimming in the lake , and moose walking in the driveway two nights in a row! It was amazing! We came for a kids sports tournament at the Menard Center and it took only about 8 minutes to drive there each day. Trenitie is super communicative, answering my questions when I reached out to her even late at night ! Super appreciated the promptness. I can’t say enough great things about this place! And hope to stay there yearly when we come for sporting events !

Great location, I was so impressed that we were almost always 6-7 minutes from anything we were trying to do in town. The place was very clean and comfortable, and really loved the layout with the couch at the foot end of the bed with the big TV mounted right there. At one point we messaged Jessica about needing a few things and some sugar and she was nice enough to bring it down to us. A great spot that we plan to book for our future trips while doing baseball tournaments in Anchorage.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy little apartment in Alaska! The space was spotless, warm, and well-equipped with everything I needed.The views were absolutely stunning—waking up to snow-capped mountains was a dream. The host was responsive, kind, and made check-in a breeze. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with all the comforts of home.

Our stay was wonderful! This place has so much room. We had 2 grandchildren (age 5 & 10) with us and they loved it also. Only issue we had was a complaint from people whom lived below. We respected the quiet hours from 10-10 everyday. We did not know 1 of them worked 2nd shift, and got woke up by the kids couple mornings? They were playing tag out on deck one time. We told them we were sorry and would try to respect their wishes. From then on we worried about being quiet. This place is very close to grocery stores, gas, Walmart, Fred Meyer’s, and restaurants. Wonderful place to stay and very convenient. There is a park 2 lots down which we went to and kids played and fed ducks. There is also a Church (Creekside Church) about 5 miles away, very nice Church and made us feel welcomed. The kids loved the Children’s Church also. This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular.

The apartment was great for me and friends to celebrate a birthday. Kurt has everything you need and it’s so beautifully on the lake. Love this property😍

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this place! it was immaculate and very comfortable. The view we had of the lake was wonderful. We enjoyed seeing the float planes taking off from the lake. We got to meet the hosts and they couldn't have been nicer. Annabelle was always prompt in answering any questions we had. There is no other place we will stay next time we visit our son and family in Wasilla. You can't go wrong with this place. Thank you Annabelle!

The house was well taken care of and very nice to stay in. Every sunrise and sunset was picturesque. The lake was beautiful and refreshing. Loved the opportunity to step away from life at home and relax.

This is the nicest and cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed at. It is better than described in every way. The view is beautiful and so are the surroundings. It is a very quiet and peaceful venue. Gina was always very fast to respond if needed. This place will exceed your expectations!

We had a great stay in this little cottage. It was exactly as represented, and Megan was very responsive to all our needs. The space was exceptionally clean and the perfect size for our needs. Just bummed we couldn’t stay longer but we will be back! Great space and location.

Lori was very generous and kind. Extremely safe neighborhood. She always put my needs above her own. She always had a positive attitude and knew a lot about her town. It was always a pleasure to see and spend time with her. Her dogs were friendly and well controlled.Her house felt like home and her hospitality made it a joy to share. It always felt like I was spending time at a friend’s place. Finally,she always went above and beyond in her duties as host. Finally,if you enjoy walking,there are trails nearby.
