Forest Floor Guesthouse

The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use paddle boards at Sand Lake.

We aim for you to feel as though you’re visiting family. The property features a spacious yard with a swing set & sandbox for kids. Pat may greet you on arrival & is always happy to share his love of Alaska & local insights. Your private “sweet" is through the home's shared entry. The house is 5.1 miles from ANC airport (13 min by car or approx $20-$22 Uber/Lyft/taxi). Fred Meyer grocery is .7 mile away (15 min walk); Costco is 1.7 miles. Behind your interior “front door” is your Queen bed; TV room; kitchenette; and bathroom with tiled walk-in shower and the best backside feature ever: heated bidet toilet. I live and work upstairs. There's plenty of space for all.
