Waterfront holiday rentals in Anchorage

Amazing place to stay! Right in the middle of downtown but it doesn’t feel that way. Peaceful and unobstructed view of the water. Quiet neighborhood as well. Great option!

This Airbnb was the perfect place for a few days in Anchorage! It was clean, unique, and a great combination of private and off the beaten path while also being convenient to downtown Anchorage. We especially loved the bikes and the proximity to the nearby trail. Would stay again!

This was such a peaceful place to stay with amazing views. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean!

Our stay was wonderful! This place has so much room. We had 2 grandchildren (age 5 & 10) with us and they loved it also. Only issue we had was a complaint from people whom lived below. We respected the quiet hours from 10-10 everyday. We did not know 1 of them worked 2nd shift, and got woke up by the kids couple mornings? They were playing tag out on deck one time. We told them we were sorry and would try to respect their wishes. From then on we worried about being quiet. This place is very close to grocery stores, gas, Walmart, Fred Meyer’s, and restaurants. Wonderful place to stay and very convenient. There is a park 2 lots down which we went to and kids played and fed ducks. There is also a Church (Creekside Church) about 5 miles away, very nice Church and made us feel welcomed. The kids loved the Children’s Church also. This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular.

Diane & Jonathon’s apartment was a great place for us to start our Alaskan trip in Anchorage. The location is perfect and has everything you need. Great views of the water and park! Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The host showed such warm hospitality and made us feel truly welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The property is beautifully located right next to the Knik River — peaceful, scenic, and refreshing. One of the highlights of our visit was being invited to explore a special waterfall trail right behind the house — a hidden gem we wouldn’t have found otherwise. In front of the house, we also enjoyed a relaxing walk along the river. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway with a gracious host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The lake provided a lot of entertainment for us when we were just hanging out at the house. We used the 2 kayaks and canoe quite a bit to fish or just paddle around the lake. The swans were out a few times too. We also enjoyed making s’mores in the really nice fire pit (bring your own s’mores ingredients & firewood). The kitchen was well stocked for cooking with lots of appliances provided. Beds were very comfy! 2 bedrooms had an amazing view of the lake (master and one queen), while the other 2 rooms had televisions. The master bathroom was very spacious and had dual shower heads. Make sure to follow the directions Daniel provides when checking in because Google Maps does not have an accurate location for the house, but we found out that Apple Maps worked great. Location was good, only 10 minutes from stores and restaurants, but felt very secluded and peaceful. Would absolutely stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Alaska!

This house was stunning— inside and out. What a great view for Alaska! The space had a modern aesthetic—clean lines, comfortable furniture, and thoughtful touches throughout. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed (plus a few extras). Check-in was smooth, and the host was friendly and responsive. If you're looking for a place with an incredible view, clean and modern vibes, and a peaceful atmosphere, this is it. I’d absolutely stay here again.

We truly felt like we hit the jackpot finding Ryan’s incredible cabin on the lake! Ryan was exceptionally responsive to all of my questions and offered great tips on things to do in the area. The cabin itself was cozy, well-equipped, and made for an unforgettable stay. We would highly recommend Ryan’s place to anyone visiting Alaska. Plus, it’s conveniently located—just about 40 minutes from Anchorage! Ryan also left us a bottle of wine, eggs, yummy fresh alaskan coffee, and the most amazing homemade blueberry bread! Again, we can't say enough great things about Ryan and hus amazing cabin on the lake!!!!

Great spot! Best location you could ask for in downtown Anchorage. Next to the trail, a playground, and just up the hill to multiple good spots to eat. Very quiet and serene. Easy check in. Clean. Nice beds and pillows. Highly recommend!

Our stay here was really nice! There were some really thoughtful touches - stocked with shampoo, body wash, etc, umbrellas and hand warmers by the door, a few local beers in the fridge plus a bottle of wine, water, and some snacks in a small basket. It was really clean, and the views of Susitna were amazing. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful place! Loved sitting in the kitchen and living room watching the birds and the creek. Kids loved the comfy fold out beds and the short walk to the park. Be careful of the coffee maker! That stuff is strong! Super easy to use after a quick search on you tube. Makes super yummy espresso/cappuccino with milk frother…saved us so much on fancy coffee! Beds and linens super comfy! Very spacious and close to all the goings on in Anchorage!
