Family-friendly vacation home in the most beautiful hiking area! In the most beautiful valley of the Bavarian Forest, hidden on the mountainside in the forest and only accessible via a forest path, lies our small Einödhof. Our visitors enjoy the tranquility and naturalness of the place and the coziness of their vacation home. In front of the log cabin there is a sheltered seating area with sandpit and campfire place. A few meters away there is a small mountain pond. Swimming is allowed, but the water is ice cold.

Bavarian Forest Chalet Kaitersberg with sauna and garden

We have been building and tinkering for a long time, and now it is finished: Our vacation chalet in the middle of the most beautiful Bavarian Forest. A cottage where we like to vacation ourselves: a large living room with a comfortable couch, cozy corner bench and a fully equipped kitchen. Solid wood beds from the carpenter with premium mattresses. Two spacious bathrooms with rain showers and a sauna for the gray days. And in summer, a large garden with mountain views, sun loungers and a grill all to yourselves.

Chalet Heart³

The newly built wooden chalet was completed with a lot of love for detail in March 2024. It was built in a modern style and meets the highest energy requirements. The path from your own parking space, through the house, to the covered veranda with new, electrically heated hot tub was designed at ground level. Inside you can make yourself comfortable with the wood-burning stove and your own sauna (free of charge). The National Park cycling path and beautiful hiking trails are within walking distance.

Das Boutique-Loft mit modernem Design und kuratiereter Kunst ist ein Ort zum Ankommen und Wohlfühlen mit Platz für 2-6 Personen. Sie ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten wie Wandern, Mountainbiken, Langlaufen und Skifahren. Genießen Sie den Drachensee zum Schwimmen und den Golfplatz mit atemberaubender Aussicht. We love to welcome you in our former spacious forester's house. We are a Dutch family with 3 children who bought the house in 2006 as a family vacation home. With a lot of love and attention we think we have created a unique spot in the quiet forests of the Czech Republic. If you love nature you will feel completely at home. Walking, cycling, mountain biking, you are in the middle of it! In the summer you can enjoy the silence on the veranda and in the winter the cosines by the fireplace.

They have a living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious sofa and a wood-burning stove for soothing warmth. Now you can also enjoy the cottage magic in the wellness parlor with us. This is accessible for both apartments and is located in the basement.

Relax in this special and quiet accommodation in an absolutely idyllic location. Enjoy the unique view at 800 m altitude into the Bavarian Forest and the Gäuboden. You can set off on beautiful hikes directly from the property. Particularly recommended are the Hirschenstein (with lookout tower, at 1052 m) and the idyllic Mühlgrabenweg. Here you can reach the peaks along a stream. There are also beautiful trails for mountain bikers.
