Great stay at the Aerie at Moonrise Beach. Flexible check-in when we were running a little late. Jessie and the team were very proactive and responsive with information and checking to see if things were going well. The studio was a great space with wonderful views. The road coming was a little rough but the accommodation was spot on. Would advise repellent for the bugs (I have several very itchy bites!) but a very good and peacefully time other than that.

Cedric and Karyne's place was perfect for our family vacation. The place was clean and beautiful, well furnished and had everything we needed including kitchen supplies. The place is located a short walk away from a handful of restaurants and the market, which was very convenient. The hosts also put together a guest book filled with their favorites restraunts and places to visit. We rented a golf cart from the company Cedric recommended, William @ ATM, who was also very pleasant to work with. Cedric was quick to respond to our inquiries and was nice enough to arrange transportation for us to and from the ferry and accommodate our early arrival. Thanks Cedric and Karyne! We had a wonderful visit to San Pedro and will stay here again on our next visit.

Had a great stay with Bart! Great guy, I’d strongly suggest spending some time with him, and take part in some of his side work. I went to several festivals with him selling flavored ice, awesome to experience the different cultures, from a Mennonite rodeo, to a tilapia festival in creole country, couple La Ruda Maya events! Great eggs, something about the frying pan, but boy were they good. Nothing special about the rental, simple, but very entertaining watching the wildlife, and chickens on the back deck, watch your roommates fly out of the eaves, and comeback in the morning! Take buddy for a walk every morning, but watch Rexy, he’ll try and give you a smooch! I loved my stay there, and would definitely do it again, but you gotta be an outdoor camping type! You’re not at the Hilton! Barb was in the states, so I didn’t personally see her long, but she always returns text, and checks in on you regularly. Quiet, and comfortable for my type of person! Enjoy, and relax!!

This location requires a ferry to reach, but the location is peaceful and easy to navigate. Beautiful property that you will no doubt be able to just hangout and spend some relaxing time.

Title: A Perfect Waterfront Getaway! I recently stayed at this beautiful waterfront condo and it exceeded all my expectations! The modern amenities made our stay incredibly comfortable, and the multiple pools overlooking the beach and ocean were absolutely heavenly. The resort features two fantastic restaurant options, both offering delicious meals with stunning views. We also indulged in the spa facilities, which were top-notch, providing a perfect way to unwind after a day in the sun. The condo is impeccably maintained, and we were pleasantly surprised by the abundance of fresh towels provided. Additionally, the transportation to and from the airport was seamlessly arranged, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing escape. I can't wait to return!

Our stay was great the host was responsive. The home is farther north on the peninsula which I knew and liked. If you like to travel inland this is a great location, it saves you many bumps and time. I will say with the store closing in Maya Beach currently you have to go to Seine Bight or Santa Cruz to find a grocery store. Hopefully the Maya Beach store will reopen soon. I would definitely stay here again. The beach was nice and great for swimming you can wade very far out, we also used the kayaks. The neighbors are friendly and it is a very quiet area. We stayed in one of the two lower suites and my only complaint is that the noise from the chairs above being scooted across the floor is horrible. They need a pad placed on the legs. We had a family of 8 staying above us 6 of the days and there was lots of noise from the chairs being moved around. It is a very loud screeching sound. Other than that we had no complaints. We look forward to staying gain.

There’s lots to be grateful for here, from us needing to check in hours earlier and that being a breeze, to the food left for us - very welcome after an overnight bus when we were hungry for breakfast. The AC and washer/dryer was a blessing, and we loved having a TV to watch stuff in the evening. Everything was clean and very well stocked. Occasionally we felt a little unsafe here, I think that was due to the building site around making us feel vulnerable and some of the internal door locks not working well. We also felt it needed a cosy touch, like a coffee table or some side tables to put a drink next to the sofa in the evening. Overall, this is a great stay in San Ignacio.

Jose is awesome - this spot was so close to plenty of things, very accessible if you booked a fishing trip or got groceries delivered. Loved Nala and Mia (the guard dogs!), and other guests were very pleasant. Jose has tons of recommendations, and golf carts to rent if you need them. Would visit again - San Pedro is awesome!

Our visit to belize couldn’t have been more perfect due to kaylyyns place. We were blown away on how beautiful it was. It was the perfect location for us about 30 mins away from belmopan and 5 mins to spanish lookouts restaurants and market. The location was well taken care and breath taking with natural beauty. The home is well taken care of and most importantly to us CLEAN. Everything you can imagine is at your finger tips. She even had purified water for us upon arrival and was refilled a week later. She was super responsive and accommodating. If you’re looking to rent in this area don’t look any further you won’t be disappointed. We will 100% be recommending her home to our family and friends as we were only about 20 mins away from our family in belize.

Super nice answered all my questions, location was the main attraction to Me. Walking distance to everything (lots of restaurants, drugstore and beach). Can’t wait to go back in January!!👍🏼👍🏼

As beautiful and peaceful as we were hoping! Such a great setting, very easy to find and super central to both Maya Beach and just a 20-min drive to Placencia. Publics grocery is 8-min drive south, and loads of close restaurants. We used the kayaks and even fished in them across the lagoon. Star gazed at night from the dock, and cooked in the fully equipped and stocked kitchen. Herbert provided absolutely anything you could ever need and then some. Seriously, not just sun block and bug spray, but like 3 kinds. Numerous different towels and beach towels, umbrellas, spices and oils/marinades in the kitchen, not only kayaks and bikes, but a fishing pole and net, multiple sizes life jacket, super strong WiFi, you name it. Great bathroom with big tub and strong water pressure. Sitting on the deck listening to the lagoon was mesmerizing. Obviously a lot of planning went into the thoughtful details and we absolutely loved our stay. Thank you Herbert!

I cannot recommend Tina's home highly enough. From booking to checkout, the process was easy and seamless. The home is gorgeous and has everything you need and more. The view cannot be beat. The pool was refreshing after a day out snorkeling or into town or to Caye Caulker. Eva, the house manager, virtually acts as a personal concierge - seeing to everything you could possibly need at the house, tons of contacts for snorkeling, fishing, massages (at the dock) and restaurants. She met us as we docked and was available throughout our stay to ensure a wonderful visit to Belize. As noted in the description, the house is a 25-minute golf cart ride on, at times, an unpaved dirt road. It can be bumpy but overall it's definitely worth it. The beds were comfy, the A/C was a dream, and we cooked a few meals there and found everything we needed. We hated to leave but are grateful for the hospitality and beautiful place to visit. If you're considering a San Pedro visit, this is the place!

Sue's place is amazing. Unbelievably clean, beautifully maintained, and Sue is super friendly and responsive. From here I walked safely and easily to Cahal Pech, the green iguana breeding facility, the Ajaw cacao tour, the Maya Walk tour start point, MANY restaurants, the open air market. A few doors uphill is a nice little convenience store for toiletries, simple groceries, meds, snacks, cold drinks, alcohol. Very reasonable prices. I will be returning here with my family!! It is seriously the perfect place. PS - Understand the country. It may be a more noisy neighborhood than you are accustom to (or not if you are from New York City or similar). I sleep lightly, and was totally fine with earplugs. In Belize not everyone has running water & electricity - even in San Ignacio. So, the AC and whole place is luxury. Even the nice hotel I stayed in had freeze-dried coffee in the lobby and restaurant (none in room), but Sue's amazing kitchen had a coffee maker!! I was very excited.

Stop searching for a place and book here!! We absolutely LOVED our stay at Salty Bliss! The house is everything and more. We spent most of our vacation enjoying the beautiful pool looking at the lagoon! Bonnie and Dora are the nicest and so helpful. We booked a golf cart (highly recommend doing to explore the island!) and a snorkeling tour (that picked us up right from the lagoon in the back of the house!) with Bonnie’s advice and can’t recommend using the same companies enough. The house is SO stocked with everything you could ever need - towels, coolers, bags, even frozen gel packs ready to put into the coolers. When we return to Placencia I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else! Thank you so much Bonnie for making our first visit unforgettable! 💜

Can not say enough good things about this house and the host!! We loved our weekend here! Having the kitchen to be able to cook some meals was a great thing for our family. Our kids loved this property. Right when we pulled up, we saw an Agouti, and then the raccoon later on. Waking up to the birds in the morning was lovely! My husband enjoyed the kayaks and being able to get right into the water every morning. He even caught a couple of barracuda. Herbert was an amazing host and was able to answer all of our questions quickly. We would definitely stay here again!!

Staying at this apartment felt like home immediately! It had everything we needed and more, including small touches like water and soda in the fridge and high quality towels. The beds were comfy, the AC kept things nice and cool, and the wifi was strong and reliable. Terry and her family were such wonderful, helpful and friendly hosts. We really enjoyed our stay here!

I can not rave about this place enough. From our amazing host, Leila, who was so responsive and incredibly helpful before and during our stay. To the very peaceful location with all the amenities, the delicious food at the restaurant with amazing staff, and all staff onsite. I would recommend this Airbnb over and over again.

This is my second time staying at Hummingbird Island, like tge first I stated it was a great experience, the place was very clean and felt like home. Very spacious, rooms and very nice kitchen, if you have a family it's great because if you want to cook a meal, you are provided with everything you need. this place is close to town, great location, the swimming pool was a great addition, specially if you have kids, my son enjoyed it. I definitely recommend this place and I will be back definitely. And the manager was very nice and friendly, he helped with our languages, and with golf cart rental, you definitely need to rent a golf cart. Thank you Hummingbird Island, we had a great time . See you soon.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay! It was super clean and comfortable and the resort itself is so peaceful and serene. During our stay none of the other casitas were booked so we felt we had an ideal amount of privacy. The one thing i’d say is that the casita has very sheer curtains that face the other casitas so if there had been other guests / families staying there i don’t think it would have been as private. Not a big deal but a potential consideration for travelers looking for more privacy. Also, i’d recommend arriving before sun down because the road to get to the casita is dark/remote. All in all would 1000% come back!

Wonderful location, off the beaten path but easy to get to everything. You will want a golf cart. Edwin and his family are lovely.

The highlight of our stay was Rafael, the caretaker. He greeted us on arrival and gave a full walk-through of the condo, showing us how to use everything and offering tips on where to eat, shop and explore. His insight into local culture and customs was invaluable, especially for first-time visitors. He even followed up after our night out and checked to make sure we made it home safely. The condo itself was spotless and fully stocked, with beach towels (a huge bonus), a kitchen ready for cooking and comfy beds with more pillows than Martha Stewart would dare use. The pool was crystal clear, the neighbors were friendly and secure parking was available for our golf cart. The TV included local cable and popular streaming apps. From start to finish, Rafael made us feel like family. His warmth, thoughtfulness and attention to detail turned a great stay into an unforgettable one. Every Airbnb should be this welcoming.

I had an amazing 10 star experience here - the condo had everything I needed for a very comfortable month-long stay. I felt right at home and very safe. SA, the owner, was very proactive with communication and provided so much helpful info (how to get fresh juice and local meat delivered, which days to visit the produce stands, duty free at the airport, etc). Emma and Edwin, the caretakers, are so friendly and are always available to help. Beyond spending your days on the beach, you can book numerous tours to keep you occupied (scuba, snorkel, cave tubing, Mayan ruins, ziplining, etc). I spent a lot of time just chillin' on the beautiful porch watching the gorgeous sunsets with a Belikin in-hand. If you rent a golf cart or bike, you can easily be in the heart of the town in 5-7 minutes with access to wonderful restaurants, markets and shops. I can't wait to come back when SA is also in town because she'd be a very cool person to hang out with!

This condo was beautiful & had everything we needed. The beach was peaceful and private. The condo is about 20 minutes out of town by golf cart, so it was really nice having our own cart rental for our stay. There are some really nice restaurants nearby and Belize Pro Dive Shop will pick up on the nearest dock, which was really nice. Some other companies would not go that far south for pickup. We are from a mountain state and left some cookies out which attracted some sugar ants in the kitchen, so keep food in closed containers/bags or in the fridge. This area has more permanent residents, so it is very peaceful. If you want more of a night life scene (which we didn't) or don't want to rent a golf cart, I'd suggest staying closer to the center of town. There is a bar (Stax) right across the street. It was nice having a food option right there. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed this spot!
