We had an absolutely amazing time at Daniela’s place - it was clean, had stunning views and was quick access to Pisa, Florence & Siena. Beautiful pool and lovely terrace with amazing views and sunsets. The kitchen also had everything we needed, including local olive oil and pasta & local wine as a welcoming gift. Daniela went above and beyond providing us with lilos and a pump for the pool too. Overall, 10/10 stay!

Paolo’s apartment is modern and comfortable. It’s obvious that much care went into its renovation. Check-in and out was easy with a lockbox and Paolo was very responsive. The location makes it an easy walk to all of the sights and the train station I would recommend it to anyone visiting Lucca.

Like the other guests, we were completely satisfied and were incredibly warmly welcomed. It's a wonderful family. The accommodation had everything you need to live well and for a nice vacation. We got great tips for activities and felt totally comfortable. Francesco is a very charming, helpful host, with whom we had nice conversations. We especially liked the care for children. Our child loved the toys provided, the large garden and the cats. Very clear recommendation.

This place is absolutely stunning! Alessandro is the most amazing host- very flexible with our late check in and early leaving time- even brought us a cappuccino at 3:30am before we left! Couldn’t recommend more- we will definitely be back- thank you for the most amazing stay!

We enjoyed 4 magical days in Gloria's beautiful home. The gardens are exceptional and there are so many lovely spaces to enjoy the view! Would highly recommend to any future travellers. We met both Francesco and Gloria and they couldn't have been more helpful!

We spent almost three weeks with our 10-month-old daughter in Franco and Gracia's apartment and had a great time there. The house is conveniently located for excursions in the north of Tuscany, but at the same time quiet and peaceful on a mountain in nature; you have a great view and a great garden! The apartment itself is exactly as described in the pictures; cozy, with plenty of space and a really well-equipped kitchen. With your own garden, you have a lot of private space. Franco and his wife were outstanding hosts. Very friendly, helpful and always available. The instructions to reach the apartment were also clear and understandable. The only small disadvantage of the great location on the mountain is that it is difficult to get away from there on foot (especially with a stroller), but you always have to drive by car. Overall, we are absolutely satisfied and can fully recommend this insider tip; we had a great vacation

We had the most amazing stay at Micaela! She was the warmest, most welcoming host, had patience with us and all of our questions, and made our stay happy and relaxing. The house was amazing and well equipped and the mountains around us breathtaking! Thank you Micaela and family!!!

We were very warmly welcomed by Marinella and felt right at home. She gave us great tips on what to do in the area – that was super helpful! The place is beautifully situated, with a breathtaking view that has delighted you every day. If anything came up, Marinella was immediately on hand and took care of herself lovingly. We had a great time all around and will definitely be back. Clear recommendation!

Very central location, apartment was very modern and clean. Enjoyed our stay but would highlight that the apartment is hard to access with large luggage and/or elderly guests, otherwise would highly recommend.

A beautiful and very well equipped Airbnb in a quiet, residential area. The city center is within walking distance. Mauro was very friendly and helpful and we were even allowed to check in earlier. Thank you!

Paola was the perfect host. Her English is perfect. Good communication throughout our stay. The only comment about the property l would make is that the external outside door opens inwards, and then you step out onto the road. It is a relatively quiet road with only a few vehicles passing every hour, but if there are cars parked opposite cars passing by are very close to the door. Look both ways before stepping out of the door. All in all we enjoyed our holiday, and we will recommend it to our friends.

We love staying at Barbara's place. Its beautiful. Magic happens here. We will come back soon.

Our 2nd time in Lucca and in this complex. We have come back here for a reason. And again, we really enjoyed it. A wonderful apartment with a garden. Beautiful and spacious kitchen. Beautiful swimming pool with the possibility of barbecuing. If we want to be near Lucca again, we will definitely come back here. We would like to specifically thank Giorgio for his hospitality.

We stayed for 5 night and enjoyed this large, well appointed two story apartment. The place was warm and inviting and was an authentic home to be a unique setting. My family enjoyed the surroundings and there was plenty of restaurants to close from. Be prepared to tackle the 52 steps to the apartment door which my 90 year old mother managed twice a day. Keeps you healthy.

great location on a quiet street. the flat was superb in every respect - one of the nicest we've ever stayed in. Gabrielle was super helpful arranging a taxi for us due to the transport strike. we had a really great time - can't praise it enough

This is a gem in the heart of Lucca. The apartment is super comfortable and has excellent views of rooftops and towers. The location is excellent closed to all worthy sites in Lucca yet very quiet and peaceful. The building has a great elevator which is a big plus given the top floor location. Salvatore is a great host, very responsive, and accommodating. I would love to return to Salvatore’s place for a longer stay sometime in the future.

Leonardo was incredible helpful and an absolute delight. You can tell he is house proud, the place was peaceful and beautiful. I would go back.

Lucca is such a beautiful, vibrant and historic place, and Leandro’s apartment certainly added to the amazing few days we had there. Leandro was always responsive where needed, with clear instructions as to how to find the apartment, and a very detailed guest book detailing the local restaurants and landmarks. The apartment itself is totally spotless, with modern furniture throughout. There is plenty of space as well as a well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is very tastefully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, I fully recommend Leandro’s apartment, and if we are lucky enough to return to Lucca, we would have no hesitation to come back here.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here at Liliana's place. We spent one of our days in Florence which was easy to get to from here. The immediate area around the apartment is not very attractive, but just a short walk away and you have the amenities in the town itself and we also walked and got the funicular up to Montecatini Alto, which was such a beautiful little place to visit. I would recommend anyone to stay here as everything was clean and tidy and Liliana was a friendly and helpful host.

This place is a dream. Luciano is a fabulous host. Friendly and very helpful. Fully remodeled for being inside ancient think wall structure. Location is a historian’s dream. Shutters over all windows really close out the sound at night. New modern kitchen fully stocked. Great location with bedroom French door style windows opening to overlook the Anfiteatro. We spent most evenings sitting there with a glass of wine. Great restaurants there too. Had great meals at Old Charlie’s restaurant a number of times. Supermarket 5 min walk. Great local shopping, many piazzas with outdoor cafes. Train station about 15 minutes walk. 1.5 hour ride on train to Firenze, 30 minutes to Pisa, 2 hours by bus to Siena. Lucca is cooler than Firenze with a nice breeze in the afternoon. I am a painter so this is a great location. If the flight from California was not so long, I would come back every year. We Love it here and love Luciano.

An absolutely stunning apartment, located right in the centre of Old Lucca. Lucia was an amazing hostess, giving us loads of really useful information, and recommendations, all of which turned out to be spectacular. From sites to see, best times to go to avoid crowds, restaurants, places for breakfast. Probably one of the most helpful hosts we have experienced with AirBnB. The Duke apartment was wonderful, with everything provided, and with stunning views over Lucca to the mountains on the horizon. There were great restaurants and cafes within 3-5 minutes walk of the apartment, and the provision of 3 bikes was great to gently explore the city walls. All in all, we could not have been more pleased with the apartment, or Lucia (and Maurizio), who were great communicators, from booking through to leaving Lucca, even booking a taxi to the airport for us. Thank you Lucia for your hospitality and kindness.
