Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Castiglioncello

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a private, enclosed complex in beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful view of the Tuscan countryside from the terrace. The apartment was very nicely and functionally furnished, very clean and very well equipped with everything one might need for a stay. The accommodation has access to a large swimming pool. There are many interesting places for short trips in the surrounding area. We had a very relaxing stay and will definitely want to return soon.

My husband and I, plus our French Bulldog, had the pleasure of staying here for just over 3 weeks. Immediately felt like home, and host family had everything to do with that! Highly recommend. stunning views, fabulous location and some of the most gracious people I've ever met.

It would be simply impossible to overstate how fantastic our stay here was. We're a well travelled family worldwide, and can honestly say we've never experienced anything quite like this week. The property is a hidden gem nestled in the side of the beautiful ancient village of Peccioli, surrounded by rolling hills of olive groves and vineyards as far as the eye can see. Enjoy breakfast/coffee in the private courtyard & gardens with morning sun pouring over you, or settle in for an evening listening to wildlife with a glass of Tuscan wine. The property is well equipped and boasts clean, tasteful sleeping area which my girls greatly enjoyed sleeping in the ceiling/mezzanine space! However, the big differentiator is Elena herself. You would be lucky to meet such a beautiful, warm, kind and sincere lady. She helped us enormously with local knowledge & advice about places we'd never have found, and can now say we'll never forget. Elena made this stay amazing, and we'll be coming back!!

We enjoyed 4 magical days in Gloria's beautiful home. The gardens are exceptional and there are so many lovely spaces to enjoy the view! Would highly recommend to any future travellers. We met both Francesco and Gloria and they couldn't have been more helpful!

The view from the terrace of the hills of Tuscany, the sea and the islands is priceless! It is a special experience when Rocco's flock of pigeons draws its circles tightly around the cottage. At night you can see fireflies in the meadow behind the house - magical! We also enjoyed the opportunity to attend a dinner at the Toscani Ranch. It was a very warm, family atmosphere! The location is perfect to explore Tuscany. Casale Marittimo is just a stone's throw away and rightly recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. We also made excursions to San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Florence and down to the thermal baths of Saturnia and the Giardino dei Tarocchi. The sea is only 15 minutes away by car. The pine forest on the beach of Cecina is worth seeing, as is the Torre de Bibbone. You have to bring basic equipment for the kitchen, we recommend buying the delicious olive oil from Rocco! Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

A cozy paradise nestled among an idyllic olive orchard, ran by the host family who gave us a sample bottle of their olive oil to enjoy during our stay (delicious!). Azzurra was very proactive, flexible and helpful during check in, and even gave us fabulous recommendations for local restaurants, nearby beaches and more. Beyond that, the apartment itself was full of little niceties and thoughtful details that showed Azzurra truly knows how to properly host guests who may be weary from travels. Lastly, we made friends with a charming and well-behaved old dog who politely greeted us during our morning coffee on the patio. 10/10, would love to return!

Amazing place & beautiful location. Personally, we really enjoyed the restaurant below us, super friendly, gorgeous traditional Italian food at an excellent price! I would highly recommend the accommodation for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings! Super clean, great communication via the host, extremely comfortable and decorated to perfection. Restaurant - Antica Osteria Dei Mercanti - 5 star too!!

We felt super comfortable in Mariella's apartment. The beds, including the sofa bed, are very comfortable. The location is perfect for discovering Cecina Mare and the beach is only 2 minutes away. We liked that the apartment was not directly on the main street with the bars and restaurants, where it can get louder at night with many people. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and eating. But we also enjoyed eating outside in the courtyard.

Great for those who wish to explore unexplored italy while being closer to pisa/florence

Highly recommend anyone new to Italy to try San gimigano first. Staying here allowed us flexibility to explore other cities and had plenty of great spots in walking distance. Lorenzo provided fantastic recommendations and assisted with everything we asked for.

We had a very nice week with a family of friends at Casa Bardi. Iacapo gave us many great tips. We enjoyed the beaches to the north very much, and also the white sandy beach in the south. Castilioncello is a nice place with a weekly market and in addition to the buses along the coast there is also an open free bus and a free line. We made excursions to Volterra and Pisa. Diverse travel - and beautiful evenings in the spacious apartment with cool stone floor and enough space for six people.

We had a wonderful stay at Frederica’s apartment! She responded very quickly to our request for an early check-in, which was incredibly helpful. The apartment itself was absolutely beautiful, cozy, and spotless — it was clear that great care had been taken to make it welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised to find breakfast essentials already prepared for us, which made us feel right at home. Frederica even gifted a lovely toy to our daughter — such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture! The apartment had everything we could possibly need for a longer stay — all the important little things that make everyday living easy and comfortable. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again!

Alessio and Beatrice were perfect hosts. The place couldn’t be in a better location, right on the north end of the Main road through San Gimignano. Having the top floor really made it peaceful despite the sometimes bustle of the town. The apartment was beautiful and comfortable; a great base for exploring San Gimignano and the surrounding Tuscan countryside!

The apartment was very stylishly furnished and well located to explore the city on foot. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was fun to cook there. The communication with Elisa was perfect and we were even allowed to check in earlier and check out later. The bathroom was small but functional. Unfortunately, we were too warm at night despite the air conditioning, as the bed is built directly under the roof. The water pump was also quite loud (even when no water was running). Overall, we can definitely recommend the apartment if you don't have a problem with steep stairs :)

The apartment is very cute and nicely decorated. Exceeded our expectations a lot. The parking facilities are very limited in front of the house, but we parked in a nearby parking garage (name: Odeon). Communication was also smooth and Raúl was very accommodating and friendly. All in all, the stay was very nice and we will be happy to come back!

Lucca is such a beautiful, vibrant and historic place, and Leandro’s apartment certainly added to the amazing few days we had there. Leandro was always responsive where needed, with clear instructions as to how to find the apartment, and a very detailed guest book detailing the local restaurants and landmarks. The apartment itself is totally spotless, with modern furniture throughout. There is plenty of space as well as a well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is very tastefully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, I fully recommend Leandro’s apartment, and if we are lucky enough to return to Lucca, we would have no hesitation to come back here.

perfect location in the old center, with a square behind it with nice cafes and restaurants. 10 minutes walk but the station, a little further walk to the airport. In the old center, so also quickly to the famous old buildings. for us an ideal base for both Pisa and a day trip by train to Florence or the bus to Lucca. And a very attentive owner!

Luciano’s place was right on the city center where the town is hopping. It was exactly where I wanted to stay and we were not disappointed

We can absolutely recommend it! Everything is as described in the text and as shown in the photos. Located about 2 km outside the totally cute village of Casole de Elsa. Andrea + Barbara provided all the necessary information for the journey and many great tips on site, always with the corresponding links. For example, our arrival was delayed to about 10:15 pm due to traffic. Was no problem, we were in contact and when we arrived, Andrea personally received us. And if we had a question during our stay, an answer always came very quickly. (Where is the best place to park in Siena, how do you best get to Florence, ...)
