Cottage holiday rentals in Central Manitoulin

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Richard's cottage near Kagawong. It is a large, open space with lots of seating, beds and amenities. The home has been beautifully renovated with lots of great art and furnishings. Although the weather wasnt great during our stay, we still enjoyed the beach, which is easily accessible. There are plenty of heating and cooling options to customize the temp in bedrooms and common spaces. Richard ensured there were plenty of supplies so it was easy to cook and stay in his beautiful home, even with young children. The cottage is about 15 minutes to Kagawong in a quiet neighbourhood. Honestly, the pictures don't do the view justice. We hope to be back soon!!

Fantastic place. Cassandra has set up a little private paradise. She sent a super helpful welcome pack, the place was easy to find and easy to enter. The house itself was very clean and had alot of amenities to use. Beautiful views. Firepits, sauna, hot tub, kayaks & bbq! Everything you could want in a quiet get away. Very very impressive! 5/5! Id give 6/5 stars if I could. Would recommend to anyone. Will definitely want to stay here again if we come back to Manitoulin

We stayed here for three nights with my husband, our two young children and two dogs, and we fell in love with the house and the location. The view of the water from the cottage was absolutely stunning. We went during the off season, so things were quiet, which was just what we wanted. The grocery store was only a quick drive away, as well as Bruce National Park. Our kids are already asking to go back. We will definitely plan another trip here in the future!

Thank you for a great space to retreat to for our family. The view was great. A fire place to roast marshmallows was a nice experience for my kids.

We had a wonderful stay at Valentina’s place! The house was spotless, including the bathrooms, and the location near the lake was perfect—peaceful, quiet, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. My family, our dog Buddy (a black Standard Poodle), and I truly enjoyed our time there. Valentina is an excellent host, providing clear and thoughtful instructions—like removing shoes indoors—which we also do at home, and it definitely contributes to how clean everything is. The firewood sauna was a great experience. Although the hot tub jets weren’t working during our stay, but it was also pleasent in the chilly evenings Overall, it was a fantastic stay !

We had an incredible time at this Airbnb. If you’re looking for a relaxing, remote experience, look no further. We enjoyed the hot tub, the comfortable beds and soft linens, beautiful forest for walks, and the fire pit for evening fires. I imagine during the warmer months it’s really nice to enjoy the lake as well which is right across the road. We had a really nice time and would definitely return. Thank you Mike and Meng!

We had a great stay here for our group of four adults and five children. Hot tub was great. Kids enjoyed playing on the rocky beach. We did several hikes like the Grotto and Halfway Log Dump, and the home provided easy access to those locations, as well as the town of Tobermory, where we got to watch the annual cardboard boat race. Kitchen had everything needed. We grilled out a few times. It’s a beautiful morning walk to Singing Sands. Shari was always responsive to questions, and we had a great stay.

I have visited Bruce Peninsula National Park three times and this is the best cottage location that we have ever visited. The WiFi speed is not very fast but Rogers cellular signal is good here so we can use our data. Lots of outdoor activities equipment has been provided by the host like kayak/firewood/bicycle. The over all stay was good. However, the bed was too old and it causing some strange noises when we sit/sleep on it. might need a maintenance or repair. The host and management team are friendly and helpful during our stay.

We had a lovelytwo night stay at Carolyn's place. It was so peaceful and set in the most beautiful surroundings looking over the lake. Carolyn and Daryl were so welcoming and friendly and left us some delicious cakes that were very welcome after a long drive to get to Kilarney. They were incredibly helpful too when we had an issue with our car. Carolyn gave us some good recommendations for walks and we'd definitely recommend the 5 mile walk to The Crack. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had such an amazing getaway. We used their recommendations to book our activities and they did not disappoint us. The host responds very quickly and is very accommodating. The place was just as the pictures show… if not better. Very clean and comfortable. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family. Thank you for such a beautiful stay!

My family had a lovely relaxing couple of nights at Aneta’s cottage. The location directly on the lake is very peaceful and the cottage itself was very comfortable. Although in a very quiet and serene area, all the amenities you may require are available appropriately 10 minutes drive in Espanola which is very convenient.

Fantastic cottage and place to stay. It was immaculate and beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had everything you needed. The location was peaceful, with a great sunset view and incredibly quiet! Christa was very responsive, friendly, and helpful, but also just let us have our space to enjoy. We were so thankful for the time we had there.

We spent one week here during our first ever visit to Tobermory and we could not have been happier with our selection of Stuart’s place. From booking till checkout he was quick to respond to our inquiries and helpful in suggesting places to see and provide recommendations. The house is a cute home located right across the street from the harbour and a short walk to the Tugs where we spent our free time scuba diving. The location is absolutely amazing for first timers like us that want to see the town, walk the trails and discover the underwater sights. Inside the house is anything we needed for our stay and it provided us a relaxing home base and quiet nights sleep. The ability to tie our dogs to the provided lines just outside the main door was super helpful too. They loved watching the people walk up the street and were sure to greet passing dogs. Definitely a great place to stay, if visiting Tobermory. Thanks again!

Amazing cottage in Tobermory ! So close to walk ! Beautiful view Great yard for fire. Big kitchen, livingroom and deck. Brenna was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. Would love to come back. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

This was my second time staying at Mountain trout camp, and I can't say enough great things about it. Would absolutely recommend to families or couples. If you love solitude, or just need a place to get away from all the hustle, this is the place to stay! The host, and staff, are great, and made the experience smooth.

I had a fantastic time, the cottage was fantastic and the view was spectacular. I definitely would like to return next year. I also highly recommend this cottage to anyone who needs to relax and get away!

My friends and I had the pleasure of staying at EVA's location. The living space was in incredible condition and the view from outside was even more beautiful. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would most definitely look to book here again in the future to enjoy in the later months of the year. Mike’s place was the perfect spot for our family getaway. We had an amazing time kayaking and enjoying the beautiful waterfront. The home was spotless when we arrived and had all the amenities we needed. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and perfect for our group.

We stayed at Stuga on the Rock at the end of September for 2 nights. It was a fantastic place to stay. Tara has thought of everything and she communicated very easily with us. We enjoyed the waterfront location, beautiful sunsets, kayaking and swimming. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. This place is magic and 5 min from downtown Tobermory! We all would definitely come again.
