Wahouuuu super logement, très reposant. Rien ne manque. Les pièces sont spacieuses et bien aménagées/équipées. Le logement est propre. Nous avions juste à poser nos bagages et à profiter de ce séjour. Les propriétaires sont disponibles, serviables et très gentils. Je recommande ++++

Hele fijne week gehad in dit mooie plekje met onze twee jonge kinderen (3 & 6 jaar). Prachtige tuin om in te spelen en heerlijk zwembad en ook het huisje is erg ruim en gezellig.

Très bonne étape de retour vers Paris, logement très bien aménagé, propre et au calme. Nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner.

Absolutely loved our stay at the 'Farm house '..... beautiful surroundings, enveloped in a gorgeous sense of French countryside...loved hearing the rural sounds, brought a real sense of contentment. Claire was the perfect host, dealt with any issues immediately and when I needed to change my hire car booking, she was able to assist with the French speaking agent. Offered heaps of suggestions of places to see and specific restaurants to visit. We would go back again in a heartbeat. thanks Claire and team.

Tres belle découverte pour nous que ce logement au coeur d'un centre équestre. Le lieu est paisible et reposant, au coeur de la forêt périgourdine, de nombreuses ballades de toutes durées sont accessibles à pied et adaptée pour les enfants ( le simple tour du centre par la forêt est très bien pour les enfants plus jeunes ). La vue sur les parures et la forêt depuis le gîte est magnifique. Muriel est une hôte accueillante, ayant à coeur le confort de ses invités. Et bien sûr il est possible de pratiquer l'équitation, nos enfants ont pu faire une séance d'initiation avec ballade en forêt auprès d'une monitrice compétente et à l'écoute. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute pour un séjour plus long!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans le gîte de Katherine et David. Le gîte est très bien aménagé et confortable et ils nous ont conseillé plusieurs activités intéressantes à faire avec les enfants à proximité.

An amazing property in a peaceful location. Erica and Dave welcomed us and made us feel at home immediately and were on hand for any help we needed. The renovations are to a high standard and make for a comfortable and well appointed stay. The pool is massive. The covered outdoor areas are great for when the weather isn't behaving itself and the hot-tub is perfect to relax in. Plenty of towns and villages to explore nearby, with La Rochelle and Bordeaux not too far away. Lots of "vide-greniers' in the area to visit on a Sunday when most other things are closed.

Très bon séjour dans cette belle et AUTHENTIQUE maison de famille au charme indéniable. Nous étions 4 adultes et 2 enfants de 3/4ans : les enfants ont adoré jouer dans le bac à sable/terrain de pétanque du jardin et la ferme pédagogique à proximité, nous les adultes nous avons adoré la grande cuisine conviviale et la salle de bain magistrale avec vue sur la campagne. Petit bonus pour la vaisselle : quel plaisir de manger dans de jolies assiettes vintage ! La maison est très ancienne, elle était donc un peu humide à notre arrivée (rien de surprenant vu la saison) mais une fois la cheminée lancée et la maison aérée, tout était normal. Bilan : un séjour campagnard paisible et ressourçant, merci beaucoup Katy 💚

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

Super logement, très bel endroit très paisibles à côté des animaux ! Frances a été super arrangeante et très réactive pour nous répondre à chaque fois. Nous recommandons vivement!

We had a fantastic week at La Gigon, so peaceful and relaxing, it had all we needed and more. Our 3 kids (6-9 years) had a ball in the pool and using all the games room had to offer. Judy was friendly and easy to communicate with and Jackie her property manager was welcoming and lovely. I highly recommend La Gigon and would love to return in the future.

Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf bij Barbara en Kevin. De gîte is prachtig, je kan fijn parkeren, de tuin is groot en goed onderhouden, het zwembed is gemaakt voor de plek en in het huis zit alles wat je nodig hebt. Alles, maar dan ook echt aan alles is gedacht. Na een moeilijk jaar waren we heel hard toe aan rust, dat vonden we hier. We zijn verliefd op de omgeving waar leuke uitstapjes te doen zijn en waar je heerlijk kan eten, maar bovenal zijn we dol op deze parel van een plek en het stel dat het allemaal mogelijk heeft gemaakt.

Des hôtes très gentils et avenant ! Dans un petit coin reculé du village pour vous assuré tranquillité ! Le logement était très propre et plusieurs serviettes mise a disposition. Le petit panier garnie pour notre arrivé était une très belle attention. Je recommande

The location was convenient for walking into the little village of Cubjac with many surrounding towns within an hours drive. The kitchen had all of the amenities we needed which was perfect as we cooked most of our meals at the house. We also appreciated the charcoal grill. The property was absolutely stunning. We were in awe of the main house as we drove up the driveway. We enjoyed walking around the garden and on the trails in the surrounding woods. The bed was comfortable and the dining room, living room, and outdoor seating was perfect for 2 couples. The bathrooms were clean and the water pressure was good for showers. We did learn that you won’t get hot water if you try to shower while the dishwasher is running. 😂 Communication with Catherine and Maxence was great. They were always responsive and Maxence very insightfully helped us plan our itineraries for several day trips including markets, wineries, hikes, and gardens.
