A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

Melanie's little house is atypical, well decorated and very well equipped. The place is very quiet, it is located near a restaurant, a small grocery store and a bakery. Ideal for a breakfast outside. The outdoor courtyard is very nice and enclosed, our little dog loved it.

Julie was very friendly. The apartment is very spacious with a very big garden. It was very quiet and I slept like a baby because the bed was great. I am definitely recommending the place to anyone who loves being close to nature. It is also very walkable from the apartment to downtown Angoulême (around 15 mins).

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

We had a nice weekend. The accommodation is impeccable, and as described. Great hosting. Great value for money. An address that we will remember for future times.

Wedding weekend at the Château de Brie (if you are sightseeing in the area, this beautiful estate is worth visiting) we enjoyed our few hours of rest in Jeannette's very peaceful little house. We couldn't meet but we had very good exchanges with Jeannette to prepare for our arrival.

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. We spent a dream weekend with friends (5 people) in this very beautiful house in absolute quiet in the middle of the vineyards and very well equipped very largely above the average of rentals that stick to the bare essentials. Note the very good welcome from Lucy whose briefing is complete. A real favorite that we recommend.

Thank you for this charming cottage, we had a great time there as a family. The garden is superb, wooded, quiet and pleasant. The freshness of the house is very pleasant in summer. Everything is as described, with a bonus of toy bins for the kids!! :)

We really liked Thomas’ place. The pool is much better than the photos look and the pool was very clean. A great little seating area under a canopy and plenty of sun loungers. Rarely used by anyone else! Good location for road cycling (road cyclists from UK will find the roads undulating and open). Really nice peaceful setting. Really quiet. WiFi good enough to do video calls to work from the house.

I 100% recommend the accommodation of Alban and Sandrine who are very kind, very welcoming and available hosts as well as their neighbor Virginie who welcomed us at first. The accommodation is faithful to the description and photos, even more beautiful! Impeccable cleanliness, tastefully decorated, you feel very good there right away! We had a great time with the family. We took full advantage of the huge and peaceful garden. The cottage has an authentic charm and is also very functional and modern. Hiking trails are easily accessible, and children were able to see sheep and other animals in the nearby fields. Communication with the host Isabelle was also very good, very responsive by message or phone. We really appreciated the flexibility on arrival and departure times. in short, we highly recommend it, the stay was perfect.

A true little corner of paradise: a wooden hut, the sounds of the river, birds and the forest as a backdrop. Ideal accommodation if you are looking for peace and nature. The +: accommodation is Dog Friendly🐾. We came with our 2 dogs (Golden and Labrador). The accommodation is not fenced but the vegetation that surrounds the accommodation acts as a natural fence which allowed us to leave our dogs free on the land. Thank you for this bubble we've been in for the past few days✨

We had chosen ‘Le Manoir’ for its setting and decoration ‘So British’ We weren't disappointed! On the contrary, we immediately felt good in our vacation home. Thanks in particular to the details (old beds but excellent bedding) very well equipped kitchen and what about the grandiose bathroom!!!! We only have one small downside: the dishes for 6 people are a little fair. Scottie's hospitality and responsiveness as well as Kerstie live up to the place.

Second time we have rented the Maison du Bonheur, and there will certainly be a third time 😃 Beautiful house, always pleasant, clean and welcoming.
