Holiday rentals with a pool in Charente

Beautiful accommodation where we spent a great weekend with friends. The space outside is very pleasant and peaceful. The interior of the house is spacious and very well equipped. We will not hesitate to come back during a future stay in the region!

A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

Wow!! Marie's house was beautiful and in lovely, tranquil surroundings. We were a party of 5 and the house and amenities were perfect. It was great to have a swimming pool to cool off from the summer sun. We booked for a week at a late stage but from the first enquiry to Marie and throughout our time there Marie was always very quick and helpful to respond. We absolutely recommend this wonderful house and host, but hopefully there will still be the opportunity for us to book again when we are in the Charente.

We had a wonderful stay in Gaby’s gite! Beautiful decorated, good bed and bathroom, everything we needed was there. We thoroughly enjoyed the private patio which was very peaceful. The use of the beautiful pool area was also very relaxing! The dinner and breakfast Gaby made were delicious. We would like to come back some day to this amazing place!!

The place is very beautiful and serene. The house is clean and very modern. The entrance is a bit difficult to find and you need to bring your own towels, but otherwise it was a lovely stay.

We loved our stay at David and Jerome’s place!! They were both extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. The property is beautiful and peaceful, whether having your morning coffee in the garden, an afternoon swim in the pool or an evening hot tub. Would highly recommend to all future guests!

The gite is perfect, everything you need for an ideal stay, the swimming pool is a perfect size for a little one and also is you want to do a few lengths. The garden and barn is spectacular, the perfect space to escape from the heat and eat in a beautiful place. The hosts, Sue and Paul, are so accommodating and so very welcoming, it’s been the best stay and we did not want to go home!! We have already booked to come back, an amazing stay 👍👍👍👍

A most excellent stay, comfortable, quiet, great pool, good facilities, great location for us, the provided breakfast was way better than expected, we would highly recommend The Grange and both Ian and Carol as hosts, superb value for money, and an ideal rural Frenchland location (pothole free roads yay), cheers!

The cottage is superb, with its old stones full of charm, set in the middle of a green setting, not to mention its swimming pool and its "guinguette" which allow you to enjoy real moments of conviviality with peace of mind. We had a really good stay there. David is very friendly and available for any information. Don't miss!

A lovely place with plenty of room and a big pool.

We had a very pleasant week of vacation in the green Périgord. Marc is a warm and attentive host, he wants everyone to feel good, all in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The accommodation is clean, we enjoyed the terrace overlooking the greenery of the park and the pool. A week during which we also enjoyed the baguette and small morning croissants, as well as the restaurant tastings on the site! An invitation to relax with the possibility of walking and/or cycling on many arrow trails. A place to remember.

Marc will do everything to make your stay a success. But it's not difficult because the cottage is in a super quiet place. We were looking for peace and we found it and the last night Marc invited us to eat next to the pond with other guests. Thanks to Marc we felt like family! Thank you for everything!

Super stay in a very historic building, swimming every day. Internally superb although the main building could do with a bit of attention, only expected with the age of the place. Great stay...thanks Jason

Great relaxing stay and fun! Marc is an OUTSTANDING, WELCOMING and CARING host with rare qualities and values nowadays. You arrive with your worries and leave HAPPY! It's a guarantee. Quiet, relaxing and very clean site. Ideal place for walkers, cyclists... Lots of swimming spots in addition to Marc's beautiful pool. Various activities: canoeing, fishing. Farniente at will..
