A very comfortable stay in a beautiful location. We stayed in the Terrace Apartment which was tastefully decorated, very clean and welcoming. The supplied cold water and milk were so helpful as it meant we could make an emergency cup of tea to start our day before heading to the supermarket! All toiletries and tea and coffee supplied! Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful renovated farmhouse, so peaceful, loved the pool. Anita and Simon brought over croissants one morning, a lovely touch. They give you full access to the property. I would highly recommend.

The location of the house is perfect, just one minute walk to the bridge from where you can enjoy the best view of Cognac. The house owner is also very nice and patient.

Had a wonderful stay, Nick and his wife are great hosts, with a wonderful 15th century building in which we stayed. Easy to walk into confolens, from apartment We hired a car, in which we was able to explore all surrounding areas, also supermarkets within 3 mins drive Great out door space, with seating area, plus garden to explore with chickens Thanks for a pleasant stay and your information on the area Would definitely book again 🙂

We verbleven 5 dagen in een van de mooie huisjes op het terrein. Een heerlijke omgeving en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wat een top accommodatie!

Nous avons passé un fantastique séjour en famille dans la maison de Sylvie, un véritable havre de paix à la ferme et avec une vue imprenable sur le lac de Lavaud. Difficile d’imaginer un meilleur accueil que celui que Sylvie et sa famille nous ont réservé, qui ont été particulièrement disponibles pour nous aider et nous ont permis de profiter au mieux de la région. Mention spéciale pour les chevaux qui évoluent juste à côté de la maison et assurent l’émerveillement des petits citadins! Nous recommandons intégralement. Merci encore pour tout et à bientôt !

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Mark, lieu paisible et tranquille où nous avons pu nous ressourcer. Il y a tout le nécessaire dans le moulin, nous avons apprécié le bureau rempli de prospectus sur les choses à faire dans les alentours. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Nous avons passé un séjour fabuleux en amoureux dans ce magnifique domaine. Le loft de Mariel est très joliment décoré, très propre et confortable ! La pièce à vivre est très spacieuse, bien agencée avec une cuisine ouverte extrêmement bien équipée. La demeure et les espaces extérieurs sont magnifiques, la vue sur la Charente est magique. Nous n’avons eu qu’à profiter des lieux, entre balades en bord de Charente et repos auprès de la jolie cheminée. Mariel est une hôte charmante, pleine de gentilles attentions : bougies à l’arrivée, pain-beurre-confiture à disposition pour le petit déjeuner, bonnes adresses… Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette très jolie adresse !

From the moment we opened the door of our car, we fell in love. The house is very charming and surroundings absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing. Our son loved the wildlife and was constantly on the lookout for new bugs, birds, and lizards. The loirs was no doubt his favorites. Our daughter spent a lot of time in the pool, which was bigger than expected and very nice. We had parents and inlaws coming to visit, a total of 8 at the most. We were very comfortable in the house, if you needed some time alone there was always possible to find a quiet spot inside or outside. We found it as a good base for daytrips in the region, there is a lot to see and do, but need a car. We have been to many places around the world, having an international family, and it is the first time we have been really sad to leave. (Even the kids that was looking forward to Disneyland). Abigail has been a great host, quick replies and very helpful. Many thanks again for letting us live in in your beautiful house.

Ons verblijf bij Kevin was perfect. De woning is praktisch, mooi en verzorgd. Alles is aanwezig. De koffiemachine is echt top! We hebben genoten van de rust, de tuin, de vogels en de groene omgeving. Pizzeria, wekelijkse markten en supermarkt zijn vlakbij. Limoges en Oradour zijn 2 uitstappen die aan te bevelen zijn. We logeerden met een gezin van 4. De kamer met werktafel was ideaal voor onze student. Kevin is als host zeer vriendelijk en reageert snel. Alle informatie is duidelijk en eenvoudig beschikbaar. Kortom: een aanrader!
